Steve, I don't use them in general trading, but I like to be aware what the pivots are, especially on large movement days like these, it does help make a clearer mental picture of whats happening.

I looked at them in the past....found them to be a somewhat hit and miss TBH

Have you reduced your target now that you're averaged in - or you still going for 13520? I fancied a small bounce as well - but its not looking that great at the mo!

Indication is to go lower i'll wait for a short entry.

:idea: if the cash breaks 500 - could bounce quite quickly. but still think its pretty bearish overall. would consider going short if it gets upto 530-ish.

Dax broke uptrend,just today,FTSE convincingly...let's see if US follows......stops are in @ 510,off for food

Don't see much rejection here at 500 so i would say it will move higher.
Still have a bearish signal for the end of day .
