balls, capital spreads website has just died. anyone else having trouble?

stuck a cheeky sell order in at 1.7640. if it goes, i think it may go quickly. will keep a tight stop though, as it could bounce very heavily if the breakout is rejected.


edit, and put another order in at 1.7620, small stakes the pair of them. looking for big points, rather than big bucks.

Just gone long on cable at 17665, tight stop in case goes through support.

Which BO system are you trading on the Euro? I can't see your trigger levels on the chart? I'm tradiing the 1am-8am BO system and the triggers today are 1.1839 Long; 1.1804 Short.

OK day yesterday (€$) +46, exit at 9pm. I use capitalspreads too, a fine platform (at the moment), 4 pip spread on €$.

My EUR entries should have read L 1.1840 S 1.1803 - same as yours + 1 pip.

So far, I'm long EUR at 1.1840 and short Cable at 1.7653.

I normally close positions at 18:00, although I closed early yesterday at 17:33 as I had a meeting elsewhere.

lol, everyone still in? its like watching paint dry at the moment.

i think its time to get those stops really tight leading up to the US data. im not gonna get caught on the wrond end of this one lol.

being long euro and short cable has got me thinking as regards a pair trade on the blighters as a viable strategy.

i will see if i can devise some rules. but i think i would need some EOD data first. could be a pet project to have methinks. relatively market neutral position.

I don't like being simultaneously long and short EUR/Cable or vice versa.

I fear it's going to be a bloody day! 🙁

as long as you have your stops in Goobs it should be ok...

remember cable moves more than Euro, so unless you have different weightings, then you should be hoping for an overall move south.

ive done a very bad thing - put up 3 EMAs on my charts, and in every time frame up to daily, they are all running south in unison.
looks good so far 🙂

time for the US data to bugger things up. i hope it doesnt do a dummy on me today.

currently +17 cable, -5 Euro. woo, and indeed, er hoo! 🙁
