GU - a Great Manipulated Set Up

Different set up atm - above 4270 it is trying to stay in a bullish price structure for morning session and to see more price rises from its 4250 support area

7 00 am was a scalp sell - but I will be looking for some scalp buy set ups again whilst we stay above 4250 / 70 area

Over 15 mins later from above comment - still a scalp sell and now the price structure set up is being tested more under 4260

Maybe its not ready to turn and test back over 4280 and 4300 and so will only look at scalp buys over 4282 for now

We never went under 4250 supports in the end and the turn took place.

I was not here to take advantage of scalp buys either after 7 51am or 8 00 am and over 82 - so missed out on a 40+ pip nice buy

I hope some of you managed to get some pips off a nice totally manipulated move on the GU - classic ;-)

Bearish PS - been scalp sells but not liked the PA really as bitty

Just done a new morning low at 127 45

Bounces staying under 65 are still sells again for now

Another trick set up like GU

We had the new lows - but then went over 30 mins with no breach of the low of 127 35/36

That meant over 127 60 / 62 area - it favoured more scalp buys and so far they have carried on up another 20+ pips and over 45 pips from the low

127 - 60 to 70 is now the critical liTs - above both favours bull bias and below both favours back to bear selling bias

For me we need to stay above 4275 and then make over 4310 to start adding scalp buys for a try above 4330 +

I am hoping I can get a buy in before 9 30 am time window and even above 4285 if possible

Under 0900/02 is bear bias on EU favouring sells - so no problem

For a turn we need to see over 0905 and 10

Main supports for now 0880 to 0890 - so under 0875 sells - over 0910 buys - in between - just scalp for the 3 to 7 pips moves etc

Still favour higher as long as we stay above 4275/80 - and so will want to scalp buy again - but aware because its slow etc - manipulation is being used a lot this morning by LP's and market makers

If you missed the 10 08 am scalp sell on EA from 63/65 area - there was then another opportunity at 10 28 am from 5846 - the drop in total so far over 40 pips

5820 is a support area next

Worth noting the EA dropped over 70 pipsfrom 10 08/09 am scalp sell

5820 could not hold price but so far 5795/5800 as worked but still not over 30= mins so far

This afternoon should be slow with US on a Bank Holiday - but never rule anything out as the markets still love to trick and deceive etc etc

Will check out ever hour or so next

Perfect place to buy was from 4278/80 area

So far still not been over 4310 ( 4308)

I still have it in bullish PS for session above 4280 but need over 4310 and 30 to add more buys

Remember this afternoon session might be very slow - due to US Bank Holiday

I am sure there will still be some opportunities etc - but certainly will not be a normal afternoon

A slow afternoon although more action last hour - especially after 3 30 pm on the EU and EJ ( not the EA surprisingly )

On afternoons like this it's just worth checking out hr time windows for new set ups and then only 30 min ones if moves start

as F says .......the US has been quiet today ..........sloooooooooow

looking at the day the real buy was CAD .........its been some 70 pips up on the day at times ......nothing else comes close ...well worth just hitting it every time it retraces and then starts to come north again

Yen , Euro and Swissie are inseperable re sells today .......they have all been sub 50 pips at times................again just hit them after a bit of a bounce north

others are more immediate signals off of us opening (holiday)

USD bull us session so far = Buy
GBP = Bear
Aud / NZD = Bear

sooooo.....looking at that I would line up any currency offering bears to USD bull

E/U , A/U sells ....... possibly even UJ buys if they pucker up

Tuesday 19th January 2016 - Pre Opens

Good Morning all FX Intraday Traders

A normal trading Tuesday today after a US Bank Holiday yesterday

Both EU and Pound red news releases this morning

Not about for the LO but around now for 40 mins and then hopefully over the course of the day

All FX input welcome - charts - views - calls - forecasts etc - and of course any different pairs.

Nowadays I seem to major on the EA and then a combination of EU / GU / EJ / and the odd other pair depending on news of the day.

The EA can be a beast - ie from a 6 21 am scalp sell its already dropped over 30 pips - whilst the EU as made about 9 pips

For session its got a bull bias above 4260 this morning

OK its been in a long bear rally dropping over multi hundreds of pips - but that does still not mean we cannot have 30 to 100+ pip bull retraces etc

An ideal scenario might be you are selling still under 4900 - but still scalp buying on all pullbacks that have potential 30 -100+ pip retraces

This one is already 40 pips back up from its low

Now EA as dropped over 60 pips from its 6 21/ 22 am sell - and believe it or not - the EU as had a move on with a 19 pip fall

Thats its now - under an hour and over my daily target on pips - although not on money as scalps not been left on with 100% stake size - but moved onto partials with stops in profit
