clouds overhead and still in the negative are of the line in sand tho?

I have a traffic light sequence on my 3 middle LRs' suggesting still wanting a bit higher again

Could be wrong - but got the false b/o weighed up

classic false b/o down on GA under 07800

It dropped over 15 pips - then immediately bounced in the direction it should try - ie Up over 08000

logic of this based upon 15: 44 hl? because lr set to me says down?

I reckon the GA should try over 08000

From 07400 its been a nice scalp buy with a pullback and a rise again

Ideally over 0805 it might then try 20+

We will soon find out - but whatever happens finishing for 5 00 pm ish

stopped at 07950 again - still got it trying over 08000+ - but wanting to finish in the 5 00 pm TW

Yes - will post my GA chart a bit later and explain my reasoning and set up with the traffic light sequence

Might be another hr or so - but will be popping back

Here's my chart

My line in the sand after i had the red / yellow / green traffic light sequence of my medium term LRs were bullish was 07653 area

So as long we stay above there for now - i had in bullish to try above 0800

Trouble is it only went up to approx 08090 area - so not enough

Its a classic of price structure set up of the LR's on the 1 min chart

Horizontal - static supports is normally also stronger than dynamic TL support


Hope my messy chart explains my bias etc

Hope to see you about tomorrow

Not so good as last Thursday ( lol) and a bit more boring than early week - but can we ever complain 😀

GA / EA / EJ / even EU - over the course of the day gave nice pips - had a couple of 50 + pip moves as scalps under 25 mins as well - RR's of over 9

sorry i dont see yet. Which red yellow green do you mean? at 16:44 i have longest lr set bearish. in fact , price was actually sandwiched between the two longest.
is it a case of that at 16:21 price turned up from what is your green line. this area also privded resistance to price shortly before 13:30 pm. from 16:21 onwards, therefore, as long as it was aboe your lis, then it was inevitable to try the midday high?

edit. i see you dont mean the very long setting green. ok so when you say bullish do you mean their stacked order or the fact that they were above the lis that made them bullish? cheers all this helps me improve and refine.

Yes stacked order and the long green / red dotted going underneath etc for a rise and opposite on the bear bias PS drop

From last night - nice rise

Friday 11th December 2015 - Pre Opens

Good Morning to all FX Traders

I never worry about leaving a trade on overnight if I already have the stop positioned in profit already.

Also its normally then only on 30% stake size - but even so an extra 100+ pips at 30% is still like a very nice SSScalp at 100% stake size.

Saying that I have scalp sold the GA from 6 00 am at 0888 and that's at 100% stake size and already in less than 30 mins made 26 pips - nice 😀

Last day of the week - no red news this morning - but we do have some over Lunch and in the US session.

Normal stuff - all are welcome to contribute - I maybe will cover the GA & EA again more today - along with EU / EJ and GU - all depending on the "flavour" of the hour etc etc

Low so far overnight 0926/27 area and interim high 0950

LiTS area wise - yes under 0920 and 0900 is bear bias and more sells - but above 0935 and then 54 and 62+ we go into a bull bias price structure favouring more scalp buys

Ideally I would like to scalp buy on pullbacks staying above 0930/33 area

Another pair like the GA - late afternoon and overnight its risen over 100+ pips back up to the 5100 area

The AU had fallen yesterday but no this morning trying to stay above supports around the 7240/45 area

Preferred the GA scalp sell earlier on to the EA - but both in a similar PS

Price around 5140 area and its bearish under 5170 with supports around 5120 to 5130 area

Need to come out of its range - ie under 5120 and 5100 for more sells - or turn and try over 5160 / 70 for to to go into bull bias and the overcome its R area.

Otherwise stuck in a 50 pip range.

Trouble is - i want to scalp buy again above 30 / 33 - but quite happy to bag 7 + pips off a sell for now

Would need under 0925 and 20 to stay with sells
