I think you missed my point. I have a degree from Leicester, my point is that there's no need to take everything personally. Likewise if a feminist were to take offence at your avatar I'd also say they were over reacting.
1. I have changed my avatar. This should fix the issue and stop giving mixed signals to feminists.
2. Different groups of people from various cultures and countries have different tolerance levels. It is the natural tendency of people to protect their groups and their beliefs.
3. What works in Japan culture wise will not work in America. Lots of Japanese find Americans as rude people. Many brits find americans rude but both brits and japs may not necessarily be correct in their assumptions.
4. I took an offense because it was my natural tendency to defend my tribe. Every one at some level does the same. A lot of Pakistanis would have ignored it. I chose not to but that is my personal choice.
5. I did not ask for an apology because you do not find your statement offensive which is fine and alright.
Lets cut this right here before people are further diverted away from the core of the issue. Less distractions are needed.
