Mike Baghdady - should I take a course or not?

Just to put things into context, how any people did they actually have on sales ?

In my experience, good sales people will usually put up with anything if there's decent money to be made. They only tend to walk when they no longer believe in the product or their ability to earn commissions.

In general The Hare I would tend to agree with you. However, I can think of certain circumstances where other forms of self-interest might produce the same effect.

The two most obvious forms of self-interest are the desire to enrich oneself (the one that everyone immediately thinks of) and the desire to protect or preserve oneself (which people tend to think of less, but is no less powerful).

There have been allegations made (the allegations that, as you will recall, I stated that I do not believe) that might if true (which we are both sure they are not) amount to telling untruths and making serious distortions in order to convince people to part with their money. If this were the case, this might well amount to fraud. Fraud is a criminal offence punishable in many, perhaps most, cases by imprisonment.

Salesmen might well walk out of a company that was being, or was about to be, investigated for fraud. They would fear for the integrity of their own skins (having no other integrity to speak of) and the self-interest of self-preservation would outweigh the self-interest of self-enrichment.

As I say I cannot imagine that this is the case here. But the refusal of Training Traders to answer the simple questions that have been posed will give rise to speculation. This is regrettable, but inevitable.

Starting to look like it isn't it. Who knows what else is going on behind closed doors.

I hope it hasn't. The world needs thirty-three year millionaire veterans who have probably taught traders in every major bank and who are the winners of world championships and trader of the year prizes and are now backing 10 or 15 or 20 novices with their own money and...(continued ad nauseam).

People would do well to remember that the Internet is the main source for prospective employers to research the background of recruits. As we hurtle towards disaster who really wants to have their name associated with all this dishonesty?

Well if the rumours are true, the current turtles are actively selling this nonsense to others, whilst knowing from first hand experience that many of Mr Baghdaddys claims are completely fraudulent. Perhaps not the smartest move as their names and photograps are plastered all over the internet.

Its possible that there may already be a few of the turtles planning on leveraging their involvement with this fiasco, in order to scam others at a later date. It happened with the original turtles program, and there's no reason to believe it wont happen again. Nonsense like tends to attracks a certain type of person. Mr Baghdaddy is a fraud in many respects, but he knows the score.

Its in the turtles own self interest to play along, noone is auditing them, they can claim whatever returns they like. I suspect at least 30-50% of the people involved will take whatever actions necessary for their own self preservation.

Its all good lulzy fun

Whilst I understand why you may think this, it would I think, be much fairer to separate the turtles from Baghdady. Baghdady is clearly due to give some explanations of events and actions he has taken and should be fully answerable for them.
The ladies and gents selected for the turtles seem to have genuinely given up a lot to be there and although some of them are very unhappy with how it has panned out, others obviously still have some hope or belief that the experiment will succeed.
They are the innocent party in all this and the concentration should be on those responsible for putting them in such a situation.
From what I know, the turtles were/are a pretty decent bunch. It must be a tough place to be right now.
Lets keep the focus on those that deserve it.

Thats quite a tough call. If Mr Baghdaddy has been honest, then his turtles are not quite the gullible innocent parties that you make out. The majority are reasonably well educated, many have a background in investment or retail banking, and at least 3 have actively traded in the past. The majority are reasonably mature people. With the exception of maybe one or two candidates, these people where capable of undertaking their own due dilligence and spotting the blindingly obvious.

Educational standards may have dropped, but if these descriptions are even remotely acurate, it wasnt stupidity that led to these people taking these positions, it was pure greed. They chose to play a game, and they where beaten by a more skillful opponent.

The issue here isnt about the quality of Mr Baghdaddys course, or if he has a profitable methodology, or if he can teach (I make close on 100% a year flipping a coin and could teach a chimpanzee how to do it, so I have no doubts he probably could too !)

The issue has always been about fraudulent claims, that are easily disproved by documents that are in the public domain. Simply typing Mr Baghdaddys name into Google should provide more than enough evidence to discourage most people.

Every single one of the people below had that information shoved under their noses, and every single one chose to ignore it. These people are far from innocent. Every single day they keep up the pretense and they perpetuate the fraud, and morally, that makes then no different to Mr Baghdaddy.

I understand greed, and I understand the desire to win, but these individuals dont have the courage or tenacity to stump up some of their own money, open an account, roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. They wanted to do things the easy way, and they are all prepared to turn a blind eye in the hope that things turned out OK.

This was sold as a 3 year program, and yet after a few months, there are rumours of people quitting and complaining. If there's even an element of truth in that they should be disgusted with themselves.

They are consenting adults who made their own choice. Trading requires that people take personal responsibility, and if thats the only lesson these people learn, the their participation in the turtle program will have been a wothwhile excersie (in addition to the lulz they've provided)

In order for evil to prevail, all that need happen is for good people to do nothing. How much longer will these good people continue to do nothing?

Yipee ban lifted.
As for pboils your fire has been well and truly pissed on. Your vile comments against the great and good Mike Baghdady have been officially refuted with outstanding success. Please bear in mind that at least he is acknowledged as a trader whilst you are not. The fun police have been on to me again so I cannot fully express my thoughts but if you care to read some of my previous posts you will get my drift so to speak. I attempted to inject some humour into this thread but the fun police found it too much to bear and banned me for a few days.
BUY 2000

If pboyles can rise from the ashes after this I guess there is still a chance for Baghdady hahaha.

Finding out and exposing info about pboyles was easy compared to my recent investigation
(Please note I stayed within the law but used some interesting tools ;-) ).

See attached pic for info on the PR person used by Baghdady. Looks like this muppet could be the creator of some of the questionable Baghdady media material. Interestingly that PR company went bust last year (and the site made it sound so impressive).

And there is more. There are links between that PR person and Digbyarbuthnot (he did say he worked in media).

Digbyarbuthnot made a range of accusations such as not paying bills, bailiffs in the office not to mention office is a shabby unkempt flea-pit down a side alley, without offering any proof.
Whilst some people on here have provided proof of their claims (credit to pboyles he backed up what he said).

Lets face it not paying bills could be said of most companies, hardly in the same league as the backed up claims of others. I can not say for sure, but to me this appears to be a PR trick of lesser evil used to distract from other claims.

One thing I do know is that all is not what it seems with many of the posts on here.

This is looking more like a soap opera every day. What on earth must prospective clients think reading this thread, noting the accusations, responses and lack of responses?

Quite extraordinary.

Hello Hello, How can I ever achieve LEGENDARY Status if you keep pulling my posts? I'm trying to support Boghdady on an even keel against the vile poison that is being thrown at him but every time I do my post gets pulled.
If the great and good Mike ever wants to close down the Trade2Win forum he must at least appreciate that Binty the Crusher at least tried to be his friend.

Absence of proof is not proof of absence. Have a bit of patience and I think you'll see all the proof you need.

It is getting hard to support Boggdady these days.

Perhaps you could send him a recipe for turtle soup?

You are a good man Bint.

You support Boggdady, but will Slackbooby support you? Who supports the supporters? He should be like a high-performance sports bra, offering support to his friends. But he is nowhere to be seen. So you are left flapping in the breeze, a great big pair of saggy knockers with no macdady bra.

Did YOU call Slackbooby the Macdaddy? THEY did, all those years ago.

Have YOU seen the turtles' heads? Are they touching cloth? They say that two have followed through. Where have they gone? Who knows?

Would YOU be a Slackbladder turtle's head? Are you going to lay some pants cable in a well appointed office on the edge of the city?

Put your balls where your mouth is, Bint. Follow through, old friend.

Why this attack on Bad Daddy? His only wish is to share his winning ways with those intellectually challenged persons incapable of coining it from the markets by their own efforts. I am so angry at the treatment meted out to Bagmoredoshdaddyfromgreedyidiots that I may start my own site dedicated to sharing trading snippets with any intellectual pygmy that applies (Cash in old twenties preferred)

Bint my old friend,

What if the rumours are true? What if it is all over for Saghbooby? Where will all the bank traders go for training in trading? Is this the end of trading itself?

Think of all the hundreds, thousands, who have been trained by Boggdady. They have obviously made their millions, but what of those that come after them?

Can this really be the end?

You misunderestimate me old friend.

It was not an attack, quite the opposite. It was a paean (one that doesn't rhyme or scan) to a master of trading and answering questions. All faecal references were affectionate.

Have you prepared your Bloomberg advert yet? Will 'Beginner Joe' be appearing in it as a hedge fund manager or do you prefer the comedy double act approach (a la Ben and Joe). I hear The Krankies aren't busy these days.

I thought it said in the papers they spend a lot of time going dogging or something?

That comment referred to The Krankies, not to Ben and Joe. I have no idea if they like dogging, or what the papers have said about it, if anything.

Some of my best friends are sexual deviants.

Not that there's anything wrong with dogging of course. In fact, I met my wife dogging one night.

It was terribly embarrassing, both of us had told the other we were just going out with friends.
