FTSE 100 Intraday trading - August 2003

the air's looking a bit thin up here, but bulls still inching ahead
towards 218 breakout despite some heavy selling volume coming
in. AVZ (a good signal imo) is not faltering either. If the assault
on 218 fails we might see a fast reversal so my finger's
beginning to hover over the short button.

still a broad based rise tho' with all ftse 14 still winners

good trading

at this point it looks like 5=1 so anything could happen now.
its run its course and must have fresh impetus to go higher.

a good battle.

bulls seem dug in around 210 with bears still defending 220
strongly. both sides looking to usa for re-enforcements
at the minute.

Suspence is nearly killing me!!

Too late to go long unless clear break above 4220 and yet no obvious break to confirm the maintenance of the top of the June -August trading range.
What must be galling is that the "big boys" are on holiday on their boats in the Med or where ever leaving the No 2s in charge.I wonder what there game plan is?

wonder if it's that infamous DOW 10am reversal kicking in a
touch early. If it is you might yet see 220 go mully.

how about you all ?
I'll be off for a few days now the breeze seems to have returned.

I presume that is a reference to sailing rather than a bullish call on the market?

Have fun and get a good suntan

you seem to find ftse plain sailing so the other should be
easy (unless you need the breeze for fishing)

relax and enjoy

can feel it in my face already.
now everybody sing on 3 ,1-2-3,

I am sailing, I am sailing home again 'cross the sea.
I am sailing stormy waters, to be near you, to be free.

I am flying, I am flying like a bird 'cross the sea.
I am flying passing high clouds, to be near you, to be free.

posts crossed - it's not fishing then!!!

still relax and enjoy (I won't join in the singing 'cos it'll
ruin the moment!)

lol
no not fishing. season is pretty dead now until september.

btw, isnt there a set of trout pools somewhere near you.
is it Goring or maybe Pangbourne ?

seem to remember they had a vineyard as well.

maybe - I know of one at Binfield but I'm not into fishing.

golf and bird watching are my other games.
