Brexit and the Consequences

When Britain has finally left the EU and on its own to survive I think Trump being a business type will take advantage of the situation and demand unreasonable and far from fair terms to trade with the USA.

Popular myth that we need a trade deal with the US. US is already our biggest single trade partner and not a trade deal in sight. Plenty of time to negotiate with other smaller countries before tackling the big boy.(y)

Of course! He'll make sure of that.

National hero our Nige and the more he gets up the establishments noses, the more we like him.(y)

Forget gongs, his place in history is already assured.

Next time Europe needs liberating, do you think some other country could stand up and be counted !

Always down to the Brits to sort everything out

Snowflakes wont be watching this I expect, but they should, might learn something !

Jezza

Not looking too good for Jezza.

How can he get around this little problem of 400,000 members posting all kinds of anti Jewish comments and threats against anyone who appears to be anti Labour.

Obviously, expulsion from the party won't be considered. He needs all the support he can get

Jezza and his fellow travellers have now been rumbled by the people in general - the disgusting filth peddled from within the party ought to make any decent traditional Labour supporter ashamed to be associated. The hard-left takeover of the Labour party is now virtually complete and hopefully will keep them out of government unless their manipulation of fake news and lies really can fool all of the public all of the time.

It's a disturbing situation when the remaining moderates don't appear to have the bottle to do anything about it and are just sitting there waiting to be deselected or pushed out by the Stalinist/communist/Trotskyist/Marxist hard-core who never give up.

So what's this got to do with Brexit? It leaves the field completely open to the Conservatives who probably can't believe their luck at the moment what with unbelievably solid support over the Salisbury Incident and a Labour party that appears to have hired in a fleet of JCB political diggers on a long-term contract.

Without the resurrection/establishment of a new party (just look around at the dregs available at the moment) then unless May makes a complete dog's breakfast of Brexit, then we could be effectively heading towards a one-party state after the next election – but who knows? That's a long time into the future.

Yeah it's hard to see how the Lib Dems can have any sort of meaningful revival especially now that Vincy baby has completely lost the plot.

SNP are also being found out and I would expect the Tory vote up yonder will firm up given that there's only one game in town. Brexit, either your'e for it or against it, but there is no credible opposition or political organisation to rally around. Phew, that's a relief !

EU is done for. There is zero chance that internal opposition will melt away. So either we end up with no deal (no money) and it collapses straight off the bat, or we end up with a deal, then observe the other members as they rip themselves a new one.

What actually would it take for Jezza to step down ? he is one ignorant individual without any morals, He would need to be forcibly removed kicking and screaming...And now enter Sir Eddie of Izzard,:LOL: At least he has the right makeup ( no pun intended ) to make it right to the top of the Labour party, being a comedian

The present politicians seem to be of such low calibre that there may be a good opening for a New Messiah to emerge from the scrum.
UKIP seems to be in a shambles beside the others.
What we need is a Macron like character who can cherry pick his/her policies and leave behind the political baggage from previous Govts.

Zombie politics at the moment in the uk.....until we get the Brexit farce out of the way no-one will show there hands ..

I was hoping for some entertainment from at least one brave soul to hoist the 2nd referendum banner ...which would suit me .....

Or even another general, election to be called ?.....that would be interesting and definitely get at. Least one party offering a second vote as an election promise

I can only hope ...it can’t get any worse than it bloody is ..

.oh ESMA.....it just has got worse ....

Wrong thread or maybe the right thread.

LOL! – The right thread: illustrates nicely some of the obsfucation that is going on within Brexit.

I always think that there is nothing more embarrassing for an interviewer, and more entertaining for the viewer/listener than a journalist (e.g. BBC) with an agenda pitted against a victim that doesn't "conform". Nigel & JRM are particularly good at this.

Yes, I second that – it's all part of the "socialised state" that we now find ourselves living in. This lady speaks a lot of common sense on the subject: https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/the-insane-socialised-state-were-in/

Agree with much of what the Conservative Woman says here. Good write up.

Morrissy speaks some truths and some not. His indeed, entitled to his opinions much like the rest of us. Problem is some peeps lump it all into one bag just because he favours Brexit, all good and so must be true and valid etc. Good for him.

We are on the silver bullet approach to Brexit again. Who could have guessed Brexit will fix political correctness which the British public doesn't want either. I can see the next argument developing along the lines of - if you agree with Brexit you are truly British. If not well you are half British wannabee European.

Another label for PC if unchecked will be you can say what you like to belittle and humiliate anyone you like in the name of free speech and that in turn will lead to minority groups being persecuted. It will be like the school play ground where the vulnerable and isolated minority groups will be shat upon that's for sure. Of course everyone will say - no don't be silly, surely not as we are all jolly nice folks.

On another note - whilst the Con Woman speaks much sense she perhaps correctly ends with the weather and I'm sure Brexit will fix that too.

You know I'm almost beginning to switch sides but all for the wrong reasons. I like the idea of a silver bullet. It's kind of a neat simple idea to grasp.
