Brexit and the Consequences

Broadchurch or QT ?
.

Does ether of them overlap babestation ?
I've been following it quite close this last week. Something to do with
Shaking a phone whilst getting undressed , Admittedly the story line is quite hard to follow. :-0

Is that a railway, underground or bust station ?
If it's just a phone being shaken, I don't think I'll bother;)

I hear you Richard: I'll be watching Broadchurch on ITV. That said, since the referendum, Question Time has provided good value in terms of people 'losing it' - most notably from the audience - rather than from members of the invited panel of guests. Tonight's episode could be fiery.
Tim.

Why choose One over the other :)

i-player and all the others right there on ya pc

I thought that was a movie about a cute lil Pig going on Eurorail station hopping with his friend the collie after becoming well and truly peeved off with UK's Brexit decision. :whistling

In case anyone missed it.

Nigel rips Alistair a new One  :clap::clap:

Nigel Farage quits UKIP and without having achieved anything resembling an exit leaves.

That's like partying in ones own pants before seeing any action imo. Bit like premature ejection or something.

Too early matey. Alistair is quite right in his assessment. Other than approx 100K reduction in immigration Brexit will achieve FA but raising trading costs and time and burden UK industry who's goods and services will be displaced in due course of time.

I'd say one who laffs last laffs longest but this is so freaking sad it's no laughing matter.

Farage is a useless all gob and no action. Deserter. Where the hell is his party. When you pick a leader like that, he'll take you to the battle lines and then leave you there. He made millions being a MEP and after 15 years retires to spend his lolly. His very clever but in his own selfish way. :(

Time will tell.

You can ring the show for a small fee to catch up on the storyline. I was talking to the girl on reception for ages, she is proper chatty.

History will show Farage to be up there with the very best that Great Britain has ever produced. It's remarkable that One man with real vision can go up against the mighty establishment and put them in their place. A truly astonishing achievement.
There will be statues erected all across the land (except London obviously) paying tribute to this great man. Hopefully he is not finished yet. We need him to police events going forward and hold those in power to account.
At least Mrs May had the good sense to accurately assess the mood in the UK and so far she looks as though she may deliver.:clap::clap:

Exciting times ahead. Great Britain is back !

That really is the most remarkable thing about Farage – and and what an endorsement of our democracy! Any one of us (with the balls/determination/foresight/conviction/British bloody-mindedness) could have done the same. But we didn't – as is usual we left it to just one very determined man. Despite not being an MP or from any well connected family he succeeded. He definitely deserves his place in British history. :D

Worth a read IMHO.

Open Europe's Director Henry Newman analyses recent claims on the cost of the leaving the EU's Customs Union

http://openeurope.org.uk/today/blog/cost-benefit-leaving-customs-union/

What is worse then those extra costs under WTO other than tariffs will be cost in time for goods in transit coupled with DISPLACEMENT of UK goods and services.

Why jump through hoops buying from UK when one can buy from Germany or France or Italy???

Have been shouting about this but I don't think anyone is listening. Not everyone runs their business like Mr Dyson, which as it happens is a manufacturing one where production takes place in many other countries but the UK.

Storm clouds over head. Some peeps going to get major thunder claps.

Remember, SE rich with Pharmaceutical industry jobs... Well some of those may be moving to European countries to avoid costs and comply with standards.

Little worker bees have no clue. :(:(:(

Keep gloating about Farage who's delivered a referendum by being a thorn in the side of an Etonite. Marvellous. Just marvellous.:cry::cry:

I've never really thought about it like that! However, I suspect it's just that CV and me feel duty bound to oppose the forces of ultra-left-wing socialism wherever they occur. Can't help it – it's just the way I am Guv!

Notwithstanding, you and me would both do well in the Question Time audience – no panel politician would get away with anything :smart:

Ain't that the truth ! :)

Yes, and if (God forbid) they won the next election I don't think you'd say "That's it then. The people have spoken. So I must now support them and their policies and stop moaning on"

Yep, quite right, I wouldn't:LOL:

It's bad enough when we have a government that tries to spend less of our money, let alone One that openly tells you they are going to waste more of it.

Watched QT. Thought it was really good. Bit more worried anxious audience compared to all the previous trash.

Davies was absolutely brilliant trying to stay calm and hold the BS line. He kept repeating WE WANT A COMPREHENSIVE FREE OPEN MARKET!!!.

I thought Nick Clegg was equally brilliant holding him to account. Listen up if you are genuinely interested in understanding this larky.

1. UK - CAN NOT! have free open market access to trade goods and services without signing up to the Treaty of Rome rules and regulations of that market.

Think about it!!! If there is a trade dispute, who's judicial courts will decide on conflict resolution?

Davies along with government is living in cuckoo land. Morons. Telling the British people pack of lies. If you want free open market, you'll need to adhere to rules and regulations and directives on standards. Obvious innit! You have to pay for the infrastructure that supports that market too. There are always transaction costs. Free trade my rear.

2. Also, surprised to hear Davies say they may have more or less immigration. That's freaking news to me. That UKIP Suzanne or what ever her face whaffled on the immigration issue. I hope alarm bells are ringing in the leave camp. If not it should be. That stat about NHS nurses on books down 75% I think was true as I recall reading about that before and listening to it on the Parliamentary Committee debates.

Once again Nick Clegg was the man with the numbers on immigration and what a load of b0ll0cks that all is. Migration from non-eu countries greater yet Conservatives including TM have done efall about it.

As he rightly mentioned linking Syrian refugee crises along with student numbers load of tosh spread around by UKIP and farage BSters.

I also thought Kier Starmar was very good. Labour in opposition coming together with some formal response and structure to hold Government promises and declarations to account. They are right in what they say. Parliament is the place to have this debate not behind closed doors.

I think you have finally twigged, there isn't going to be a deal  I told ya months ago, there will be no deal around the 4 principles, formerly 2 principles, but lets not split hairs.

I'm so pleased you have finally grasped it.

Brexit means Brexit.

Hello rest of the world, as soon as we have the EU monkey off our backs, we are open for business. Form an orderly queue please.

Send us you're nurses, send us you're wealthy, we will need the nurses to keep us all healthy.

Send us you're entrepreneurs, you're millionaires, make a dash and bring all your cash, but whatever you do, don't bring the trash.

I said you were dreaming and you can continue on your journey of slumber.

Even numpty Farage thought we'd opt for a Norwegian or Swiss model. Fact they won was a shocking surprise to them all including Boris.

Now in order to save face as it's looking like they'll not get what they want wihtout many compromises of sorts these words are simpmly exit doors to save face.

It'll be the British people who'll be simmering in the couldrons of a stupid decision led by very scratchy politicians low on scruples...
