Dollar leading pairs

Normally I don't trade them so much - but keep an eye on them for correlation

The UChf and UJ have been bearish overnight - with weaker dollar - but UCad been bullish - must be a very weak Cad for that to happen

From start of the year its dropped 300 pips and now down around 7030/ 40 area - Aussie Dollar news overnight dropped it another 50 pips from yesterday's price range

Under 7080 and 7060 - still in bearish PS for AM session

The sell started at a key time of 6 39am

I only commented at 6 43 am - so 4 mins after I was in at 92

Now 16 minutess later from comment its made me 39 pips

Not so good for me - exited with only 11 pips after being up 18 pips - bad really as should have seen 6 39 am was a scalp buy - and I was in another scalp at that time

We should be able to sell again under 74/76 area - lets see if it lines up

So far not made over 68 - never mind near 74 - not scalp sold it even though its dropped 8 pips - misses it - still thinking about my EA sell making nearly 40 pips - so not focusing enough - need a coffee I reckon

Approx 1 hr later and its dropped 100 pips

Trouble was - I left no partial on after I exited at 39 pips - thought it would bounce up again more - but bounce was less than 17 pips

Anyway 7 20 / 21 am was still a scalp signal - so entered again at 29 and made another 33 pips before the half hr change

EA - your definitely my favourite this morning

On Ctrader Sun - I use the linear regression forecast indicators

Its just a different name - but yes aware of LR weighted MA's but I don't use them

God, Finally I found it after 2 hours of brain storming & net searching.
I downloaded many LR indicator. Finally found it with "AllAverages_v3.1"
I select MA method is 17, which is the combination of Linear Regression Line & Integral of Linear Regression Slope, matches with your linear regression forecast (LRF) formula.

LRF = Regression(MA(PRICE, Z), X) + Slope * Y

Much better than what I use currently. I will request you to post any recent chart of yours along with your LR levels. So that I can match it now.

I initially got in at 92 - and exited first - (excitedly with 39 pips ) - still then entered again at 7 20/21 am

Keen to look at that

Mine are under volatility in indicator section and are the Linear regression Forecast - and they match up to a normal LR indicator

Not tried line or slope - lets see how they look

Will post a few full charts along with my settings over next 30 mins

This pair even after a100+ pip fall this morning is still in a bullish Price structure - denoted by LR set up and TL's

I had said prior to 7 00 am its bullish above 0790 and 0800 - under there and 0780 it goes bearish PS

On this chart I have more supports at 0770/75 area marked with line

Can it hold and try up again

Too early to say atm

it's certainly been a busy 2 hrs

Even the EU as dropped 50 pips - EJ - over 50 + - EA - 120 pip drop etc etc

Why can't all mornings be like this ;-)

Been my choice for scalp sells after 6 00 am [/B]

Its dropped 26 pips - I caught it later than 6 00 am and so far only bagged 16 pips

127 35 / 40 is all interim supports next and whilst we stay under 60 still ok holding a scalp sell

Unfortunately it bounced above 60 to 67 area and took me out a partial - but under 55 and 50 I sold again - as the PS and LRs etc all said - still a sell

Drop so far from 6 00 am just over 60 pips - - I have got more than that on partials and initial scalp entries - but on single counts it would not hit 45 pips

127 00 to 127 15 is all support area next

Maybe next hr we can be buying again - and with EU - to early to say just yet

What a lovely scalp sell

OK - EJ is my second favourite pair of this morning

EU still holding above 0770 for now

Back next maybe after 9 15 - 9 30 am for an hour

Well over daily target - but when pressure off - it get easier - so will cover another 2 hrs plus over the day and risk 20* pips off my wins to try and make more pips and money later on

* - 20 pips could be just 4 straight scalp losses - or even 7 if I get out with only minus 2 or 3 pips - having 3 straight consecutive scalp bad trades is not unusual - but as you know - if it happens - have a break for 30 -60 mins and refocus

My breaks are dog walks and do domestic jobs as well as sometimes a quick visit to the local pub for a quick half ;-)

LR used: 7,11,25,39,65,110,270,550,1100

I think mine fitted much better., specially that 550 Green line & 1100 blue line.
