No red news over lunchtime - next release at 3 00 pm on US Dollar what might have more effect on the EU

For now its still in its LiTs area - although now made over 1030 and 34 - therefore still slightly bullish

Main clues next would be 1050 and 1070 for more rises and breaching back under 1020 and 1000 to test 0990 for sells

Too slow atm as a main choice scalp pair - so will continue with Pound crosses or EA and EJ

Last hour its seen price rise over 40 pips

5480 and 5500 are both R areas and for us to look at more scalp buys we would need first to see price breach through 5480

Above 1030 and 34 - it was a scalp bullish

That area was a scalp LiTs area from pre 9 00 am

From 1 30 pm we have seen price rise further over another 15 pips to 1052 as I type and still looks bullish for now

We need breaches above R's to stay with buys - otherwise next hr might be looking for scalp sells again

This pair is always a good mover - its my preferred pair for now - ahead of my old favourite the EJ.

Chart shows over 2 hrs a 55 pip rise - but by scalping both ways - there is 90+ pips available and anything over 60 pips I think is very good

We have just seen now - not shown on the chart another scalp buy at 2 17 pm at 5462 - so 100+ pips available in not much over 2 hrs - that's what we like

More red US Dollar news in approx 10 mins

EU resting around 1025 to 1050 area - slightly bullish for US session - but needs now over 1060 and 1080 to confirm more of a bull structure

I can see what you mean as a scalp buy from 5458 /59 - but it might struggle from 67 to 75 as all dynamic R.

It was a nice scalp buy up to 75 - and then it stalled and after 1 pm and then 2 00 pm - it was just a sell again

Price dropped from 75 down to 5450 so far

We need really price under 5445 and 40 to stay with sells - otherwise if supports hold again - then you know what to do

Price at 1037 and if it drops under 29 and 26 we just take more scalp sells

Need over 48 and 58 to be new scalp buys and a turn back up

This afternoon after 3 pm both my EU and GU sells worked out OK - re comments 3271 and 72

GU was the better sell - dropped under 5450 to 5405 at one point - EU as normal slow fall

Finished for day but will pop back in later as got to get Sun on to next stage and look at assisting Keen more with his scalping

Wednesday am should be Ok for live scalping session on this thread for an hour or two

The Importance of early Pound news on its crosses today

GU - 5420 - 5445 - 5497 high - 50 pips above LiTs

UJ - 120 29 120 66 - 120 82 high - just 16 pip above LiTs

UChf - 9839 - 9876 - 9891 high - just 15 pips above LiTs

UCad- 3060 - 3085 - 3116 high - 31 pips above LiTs

AU - 7117 - 7136 - 7152 high - just 16 pips above LiTs

EJ - 133 00 - 132 55 - 133 21 high - just 21 pips above LiTs

EA - 5410 - 5461 - 5485 high - just 24 pips above LiTs

Notice GU was the best - due to red Pound news

On other 2 pound crosses - pre news

GJ LiTs is 185 55 to 186 10 - 90 pips above LiTs

GA LiTs is 1650 down to 1580 - 60 pips above LiTs

So 3 pound crosses would have been worth more than other 7 pairs together

That's the importance of red new release on non EU or US Dollar news - always look for Pound / Cad / Jpy / AU red news release and then look for their crosses

Normally I add LiTs gains up and half them for a realistic probable gain - anything you get over 50% means you were either Lucky or scalping both ways

When you do have some time - must get you looking more at the EA / GA and also GJ /EJ - as they seem to be now my preferences over the EU and UJ / UCad / UJ etc

No,worries .....I am well aware,that the usd rarely offers the best pair moves ....it is very much the middle ground player most of the time

However the spreads are the tightest.....

When I return to serious FT scalping I've promised myself,I will play the real,pairs that are giving the best signals ......I am usually handcuffing myself by demanding a usd pair......

Would have agreed and felt the same a few months ago about that comment.
Having a lot more trades and practice behind me, i would say it is irrelevant now.

Tuesday 3rd November 2015 - Pre Opens

Morning All

Aussie Dollar during the night and again more UK Pound news at 9 30 am

Same as yesterday - not around for 8 00 am LO - but will be back for at least 8 45 am ish

Yesterday being first trading day of the month - and a Monday - was not too bad at all - the Pound crosses proved the best but as normal the EA offered some nice moves and the EU stayed in its small range.

LiTs areas coming up in next 25 mins

When I first started many said - you cannot scalp and blog comments.

Well I can - OK - you do need a multi monitor set up and you do need to put priority on your scalping rather than blogging - but with one click in and out - its only taking less than a second normally to get in a new trade

Check out EA from 6 09 / 10 am on the scalp sell from 5320/19 . Also in sync with the GA sync at same time.

6 26 am as I am typing is saying take profits and scalp buy

Taking the profits but not scalp buying for now - thats the nice part of a discretionary none automated system - i am in charge and I call the shots - and I can always play safe by not entering if I dont want to

OK - whilst i have typed this i have missed out on a 7 pip rise - but no problem the fall was 13 pips ;-)

Price currently making 27 /8 - can it make over 30 and 34 for more scalp buys ??
