Afternoon all,
Been off for a while, so busy at work I thought it best to take a break from the marketsLooks like there's been some strong rallies, hope everyone has been making lots of pips!

everything trading sideways now ........... period of indecision
Shorting the Nasdaq is very tempting stop loss 1522 as google is expected to post disappointing results........
I have put in an order to catch the downdraft and the updraft
Buy order 1525 ..stop loss 1500
sell order 1495 ....stop loss 1520
UUP , Nasdaq, S&P .....................
break of 832 could produce a very nice trade long up to 840 - 850

nice one mate. felt a bit guilty there posting my coin flip.
i'm sure it was a continuation triangle, but to play it at the closing was stupid of me in the extreme.

Thanks WS, the 2nd installment was excellent! Shame there will be no Heath Ledger for the 3rd.
A good week for the Bulls out there, although CIT Group's possible bankruptcy seems to be causing some concern over the broader markets. But the VIX is down almost 5% below the 25 level. Looks like we have a day of consolidation on our hands.
I think the 880 support level was a good test for the SPX and am now thinking a move towards the 950 - 960 resistance levels is on the cards. FTSE I think is also looking to the upside having smashed through the 50 ema on its way towards the 200.

Hey ws, I followed you in on the Nasdaq - I am short at 1515 - wish I had waited a bit longer after going up to 1521!
Err...what am I missing? Nasdaq is at about 2000
