Major Futures Selling Late Afternoon

Please be in cash tonight...no overnight holding anything...

we had that nice rally this am into late afternoon then massive waves of Pit selling started to overwhelm the markets.

i suggest you stand aside till they flush it out or down the toilet...

have a drink on me...

Hi Jerry,

What happened to your recent 'long' call and the 'technical bounce', may I ask?

tricks

I had a fantastic day meeting up with BLUE CHIP Trader ( a high calibre technician ) as well as FIBBO who made a specially journey from Sweden to come to this meeting.

I discussed the position sizing , risk management and how to dynamically put all them to gether and trade live using my own cash on line and WOHOOOOOO

Although we reduced the position size by 1/3 ( we only traded in small size like 500 shares ) we still made a great win . My intention was to get these guy to trade LIVE using proper money and not Mickey mouse using my system so they could see how risk analysis can take over the strategy and make them profitable every single day .One more thing I made sure both guys realise that there is no need for , LEVEL 2 , NO MARKET DIRECTION CALLS , T O HAVE A HIGH PERFORMING PROFITABLE SYSTEM.

I leave the rest of the comments to come from them .

All in all another day another $$$$$

Hi Tricks

we are certainly trying to make a bottom here...What ever time it takes then so be it.

I called for a rally today it only lasted 3/4 of the day.

the markets are in a time of flux as they continue to discount the mention of inflation and a slowing economic picture here in the US. So stock price have to be lowered.

this takes some time to flush out. The internals i am loking at are moving down very fast on P&F...

hence the bounce then selloff to form the bottm is still here for now.

Tricks the markets are doing what they need to do and will eventually stop tihs momentum move lower.

So in due time we'll see what happens......i have no crystal ball, but can see signs of the coming lows..

have a nice evening

Hi Jerry,

Thanks for your response, I'd like to think we may have a 'bounce' from here. I've gone in a little too soon, but long at 11064 June. Here's hoping!

have a nice evening yourself.

Thanks Tricks...

I'd dearly love to see a huge red type slam tomorrow am, i too would be inclined to buy that dip...Things are moving lower at breakneck speed it's really amazing

On the DJIA chart i'll post it in the morning here...If we take out the recent lows there is excellent support at what i call the "bullish support line at 10.950, i would buy it there if i traded the YM's...but in lieu of the futures the DIA call options might be a nice way to play this wild market and only using small amounts of cash too boot...

later, and best of luck to you

Out at 11115 June for 51 pts. Came out on the basis that the futures were up 80 plus and the cash touched 11000 overnight, which I think could be revisited? Time for another cup of tea, nice way to start the day!

My Pre Market Update

Good Morning all

I believe we are very close to a local low and tradable bottom within the next 3-4 days or so. I have my downside targets on all indexes coming very soon. At the same time the 4 short term internal indicators I watch on P&F are all nearing oversold levels and this all happened in just 2 weeks. When they flush out today or tomorrow and begin to slow their down move I would suggest a major league rubber band wild counter trend rally will ensue that will shock and awe the whole market. I am saying we are very near that moment in time. It seems to me that the hedge funds I've been writing about over the last 2 weeks are very near unwinding their losing positions as evidence by that wild last hour yesterday as they sold into that rally very hard. However not much moved on the P&F front as things are beginning to stabilize underneath the markets. To my amazement this entire correction is just about 2 week old. Seems a little ridiculous if you ask me but as long as we're alive and still here and able to trade, things will be fine. I was hoping that traders took to heart my table pounding about moving to cash, buying puts etc many weeks ago. Now let's see if the DJIA can touch 10,950-11,000 area and bounce, let's see if the NASDAQ can touch 2140 the bottom of the 10 week trading band, and the SOX at 445-450 or so, and let's see if the Bullish Percent on the OTC can hold 46% and then reverse back up making yet another higher low. I would short Gold Futures as they look like they want a lot lower on the chart, 620 would be my 1st target. If July crude futures reverse and print 70.50 I would short them as well looking for my downside target of 65.00 coming over time. All and all this will be the final washout for the market within a very short time frame this week. We will probably rally up very hard and fast and then a possible re test of whatever low we set and then reverse back up again before it's all over and done with. If you are in cash as I suggested then get ready to place it to work. There are a myriad of trading vehicles you can use to make good gains when we bounce here, and options are the keys to the kingdom. Be ready folks

Bullish Durable Goods Orders

Big bond market rally today bodes well for the local bottom coming in here 1-2 days.

rates plunging and the TLT flying so far...good for stocks folks...

OK Guys here we go:

There appears to be a lot of noise in the markets just at the moment I would urge caution and
as always remember Trade what you see not what you think.

Good Luck today:

Grey1 Kicked buttom again but it was the most riskiest day for me . I lost big time to JOYG and BRCM before BRCM and APPL went off from the list of being available for short a. That annoyed me a lot because I had an awesome signal on both of them and so i was left with un hedged position .

Joy G took my money fair and square but BRCM took it un fairly .

I managed to kick ass on RMBS with a great $4564 profit and boy i had to dump and add all along the way to manage my risk . A very worrying day for me specially when IB would not let me to short BRCM and then APPL .. That was naughty

I am not finished yet . I can assure you if IB lets me to play the BRCM to day I will get most my loses on BRCM . I know i can if i am allowed to play the short side.

We will see ,

Grey1

Grey1,

Just a thought.

Have you considered ditching IB (and other conventonal brokers generally) in favour of trading via CFDs? Gearing up to 10X, no problem with going short. Downside, bigger commissions, not true direct access.
