well - a short @ 1333 would be a bit iffy now - I'm down to 1 contract.

I have 1332.75 as a level from pre-market analysis and we just took a decent bounce off 1332 with a good size shift up in delta and a fair amount of volume. I should have had 1332.75 as a target but greed had me there @ 1331.75.

Lesson learnt there...

Back up to the open. Was considering this as a place to short but totally wimping out of it.

It traded up to 39.00 with little on the radar, just wondering if it may pop 40.00 before selling off to the lows again?

Well, bailed on this @38. Just about covered my risk today, coulda been worse.

Got stopped out one long looking for a bounce earlier and now got a short running which just picked up some speed thanks to Moody's. In profit for the day but don't want to exit just for the sake of making it an up day. Lets see where this goes.

"London, 23 July 2012 -- Moody's Investors Service has today revised to negative from stable the outlooks on the Aaa sovereign ratings of Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. In addition, Moody's has also affirmed Finland's Aaa rating and stable outlook."

Microsoft's utterences must be a worry for Apple. But I don't think their present CEO is good enough to cause too much worry.

HPI. Richmond Manufacturing @ 10am

Got in late – now 10 mins to the open and rushing to prep. Today will be looking to see if shorts from yesterday get squeezed. Asia and Europe pretty flat, news @ 10am.

I suspect we’ll probably have a sideways day.

Will be looking to fade pushes through the overnight high & low. As well as a bounce off yesterdays low.

Longs – 1337, 1332, 1326, naked vpoc @ 1327.25 in this area, jump on a squeeze, low probability @ 1343.50 (gap close)
Shorts – ONH (which it’s still moving through), 1348.50

Pretty much playing it by ear because of the chance of a squeeze.

9:42 - market moved -12, +5, -10, +6 to 1343.75, saw some sellers come in, short @ 1343.25.
1 minute in – appears to be holding 1343.25 can’t go offer… back up to 75s.
9:44 – decide to exit. Wait for it to come back, out -1 tick

Will wait for the news now - looks like it would have worked but still happy with the way I handled it.

Filled on entry at 14:33 and filled on exit at 14:39. Read the turn at the top, ignored the gap close and pushed on through....
