I read your comment where you offered to help share your knowledge from the course of Learn to trade. I have lost my 500 and almost paid upfront for the course that too borrowed money. I am so glad that I read this forum. Could you help me know all about the course that they were charging so much for.

I attended his course, and got talked into signning another course, however, I regretted but was told that they would not return my 500 pounds deposit as agreement was over 7 day's policy

Come on people , you cant seriously buy into this bull**** from Greg secker. He is the biggest fraudster out there in the trade education world.
Its impossible to learn how to trade in 2 years let alone 2 days.
He is not a full time trader but more a very good salesman.
Run a mile.

I've been thrown out of 3 trading seminars from various joke training companies........but it has been a while now ......must go to one again soon as it's fun

I've never really traded before, but I've heard about it.

And to me it always looked like a Casino Where as we all know you can win some.. but at the end of the day, The house always win.

Simple math show's that while you're buying an option on a platform you get a payout decided by the broker, you can win or lose but even when you win you get max payout of 84%, and when you lose the house can make up to 142%.

My question is what if a platform offers the ability of writing my own options?
According to them I'm not trading against the house (the broker) I write my own options and trade it to other traders...

Have you heard about it before?

A quick question. I've attended the seminar, didn't buy it, didn't give any credit card details and just left after the 2-hour introduction. I did fill in a form beforehand with my name on it. I hope there are no legal of financial implications of that?

Recently attended their 2 hour free taster seminar. Got sucked in and signed up so am due to go to their two day seminar soon for £2300. Have now read things on the internet that have put me off :-( What I don't understand though is that they say the software is completely automated - there is no choice in what you do at all, so how can it not work and how can you do it wrong or not be able to do it? If it's all automated then the program does it for you?? Or was the two hour seminar blatant lies?

Please can anyone answer before I blow £2.5k :-(

The automated software, Smart Charts, is a safety feature to keep you from losing your account. The software sets the stop loss and take profit based on the size of your account. You can still trade manually if you do not want to use the software but in my opinion all beginning traders should use the software. I recently attended the 3 day seminar and it was exactly what I needed to get me headed in the right direction. So far I have had excellent results using Smart Charts.

I absolutely did not do enough diligence :-( very stupid of me. It says in their terms and conditions that I can get my deposit back if I write to them by recorded delivery within 7 days - I shall send it on Monday! How they can get away with this year after year is beyond me!

I did all my homework before attending the seminar and the instructor really pulled everything together for me. The only thing I did not like about the seminar is them taking an hour of my time to try to sell me more courses. I am happy to take more courses from them in the future but I was there to learn trading strategies and how to use the Smart Charts software not sign up for more classes. It was definitely worth the money and I will continue to take courses from them in the future as I want to get my brokers license.

Another happy customer then ......why not open up a journal,here and share your progress with us ?.....the significant bulk of this thread is laden with how poor the courses are so it would be good to see some alternative comments ?

I have my own views on the courses.....but happy to be persuaded otherwise by evidential success

Go,it's great fun.....I've been thrown out of a,few over the years ......I love asking the 12 year old who is normally presenting a few curve balls on trading strategies until I am asked to leave

Reminds me I must find another one to go to soon :smart:
