12 39 pm - end of another time window

Two things as only popped in whilst awaiting for me lunch

Anyone using my my method should have scalp sold the GU at 12 30 pm or just after 12 31 pm at 6064

Its now dropped 10 pips in 10 mins and back now in a range from 6049 to 6066 - ie 17 pips

Maybe we can scalp buy above 51 again - or if we do stay testing lower - keep scalp sells on under 47.

Second point - lot of Cad news this afternoon - both at 1 30 pm and 3 00 pm and at 4 15 pm

All red - all important

Better check some Cad pairs out for this after noon

One further question on the method

say a pair is trading in a range, the ceiling of which is 100

youve had a scalp buy and exited so are flat.

when price breaks out do you enter on the break, or wait for a pullback

i seem to be OK spotting reversals within a range but am missing huge chunks when a pair breaks out.

Difficult one - as one answer will never work 100%

I watch the PA on 1 min and LRs on tick chart to see if momemtum there or not

Sometimes I take the pullback

Or other times - i am in before the breach and scalp 3-10 pips before exiting

Cad set up for either way with price at 1224

Needs above 33 and 40 to really be with scalp buys

Under 1212 and 1200 - then favours scalp sells

needs over 2735 and 40 to think of holding scalp buys on longer

Under 2678 and 70 - more falls and favours holding scalp sells

Needs over 2710 and 15 to be holding scalp buys on longer

Did not leave GU scalp sell on for news - shame - but unless well in profit and on 30% stakes tend to not leave scalps on prior to red news

But try and take always within 9 mins of news announcements

EU 2666 low for now - bounces or scalp buys if you went with them now stopped at 87

We should fall again - but - question is will low of 2666 hold with no breach for 30 mins from posting ??

You can take "wraps " at news - with 2 levels - ie buy over say 2725 -30 or have sold 5 pips under low etc
