I asked what the format was for UK shares on Mytrack. When 'Bob' answered '- L' I replied ' f'ing or bloody?' Bit stupid really- I don't want to be banned.
Yet another day where I had a buy signal shortly before the
close (ignored because too late in the day) only to find the
barman's drunk the beer before I could get to the bar the
next day.
How do you handle late in the day signals? I know you don't
usually hold overnight - is that because of risk analysis, bitter
experience, or just your prefered trading style?
Got computer problems - completely reinstallating -aarrhhh. Seems I'm in good company though going by recent posts. Fed up though as can't trade. I'm going to splash out on a new high-spec robust system - got a friend who custom-builds and will also use a sealed case to stop dust getting in!
I'm expecting a top today or tomorrow then down for a week, but I'll just lurk until I get my trading computer on-line again and can post something meaningful!
thanks - I get enough flak from the kitchen as it is!! "What do
you do up there all day" - not helped by her flashes of
inspiration which happen while she's doing something
constructive (as she puts it). Latest was to ask (tell) me to buy
Logica a few days ago @ around 200 - they are 243 now!!
I dont suppose the big boys pushed us here to fail to break
previous high.
so we may see a final pop.
but the a/d line is weakening.
and there comes a time when it could just as easily fall 10 pts as
climb another 1pt.
To quote my friend - Never use Seagate - they're $%&* piles of $%£$%*. He's always recommended IBM drives, though now says Maxtor are the ones to go for as they've taken over manufacturing some of the IBM drives. FWIW, on other components he uses QDI motherboards, ATI graphics cards and only Intel processors due to compatability problems with AMD.
