well I suppose you could say 324 held today - not a very clear

FTSE100 flirting with its 1day SMA. We may get resolution soon to determine next directional move for index

Current view is one more move down to complete bigger ABC from 4566. But that is only a very humble opinion.

Remember trade markets not opinions.

since bull run started last march ftse has had 3 major corrections
of 6.4%, 5.8% and 5.2% respectively. As of last night the current
correction is 4.9% and we might look for an end somewhere
between 4323 and 4266.

323 is co-incident with that fib 50% so maybe we're about done.
266 would give you your next wave (would it be enough?) so
maybe we're not yet done!!

On the other hand.................

Just to add to my view. Currently think FTSE 100 is in a wave 4 (which started yesterday afternoon) of the move down from 18/03/04. So expecting a little further strength first.

For what it is worth, market action appears, and I stress appears, to confirm to view that FTSE was in wave 4. Afternoon fall away (i've been at a birthday lunch and just returned) makes me on full alert for completion of wave5 and possible ABC from 4566.

also I think they still do the FT30 ? could you put up a chart showing FT30 and FTSE 100 since the high in 2000 ?

tried to pull it down from yahoo etc but their list is not sorted by mcap and they dont provide a download.

the list does chop and change a bit as prices change so it won't
necessarily match up with the "official" ftse30

you can select the components of FT30.

This is completely different from top 30 of FTSE 100

Is that facility still available?
