hey, ho - last one closed off and it's just reading and research
for me 'til 2004.
Had a clear out today and came across an old file with charts
from 25 years ago (all lovingly hand drawn of course
). There
they were - plessey, tilling, bowring, godfrey davis, bemrose and
the like. Those were the days and for us amateurs, trading was
about buying and selling within the account - none of this day
trading stuff.
I drew support and resistance lines on my charts but trend
lines relied on a ruler (too much rubbing out otherwise). Not an
indicator in sight (too much maths involved) and there were only
3 guys outside the city who knew that fibonnacci wasn't a mob
boss. Wasn't life simple
funny that my bottom line results
aren't much improved on what they were then despite all this
charting and ta power on tap
