I shorted the dax hoping for greater volatility and now
ftse is proving more volatile than the dax !

it was right then...it usually comes up at 4:36 at advfn but today
it was stuck at 35 so wasnt sure. Have fun Im going to go watch the dow..Im getting better at it (on paper) and thinking I might do a week of evenings instead for a bit more stimulation. We'll

Interestingly, FTSE250 didn't confirm the new FTSE100 high
this morning. It appears to be undergoing its biggest
correction so far this year [time].

Anyway, here are the two charts

Im a dipsick; went to close a sneaky long just now all well and good went to close the ticket down and entered another trade. Closed straight away for -5. Shocking

opened brightly enough but was negative by 11 and never went
positive after that.

(macd worked nicely again today)

oh and I might as well add I would be 4 points in profit had I not closed my mistake trade. you got to laugh

when I closed my long it took ages to fill but when I hit the place order button for a second time it filled in an instant. Always the way.
Just wasnt concentrating. lol

it was a strong pull back yesterday. Wondering if we might not go to 60 or even pop a bit lower to close the gap at 56. but the Futs
didnt close as weak last night so we are already up to 80/84 at cmc.. so a waiting game this morning.


edit but just looked at my chart 70ish is 61.8% retrace and 81 is 50% so might have seen C complete at the close last night..if it is a c

Hi Bonsai, looking like it might hit my 61. ...Look at the dow/ftse
divergance. Shows you how quickly things can change. Last year they would leave each other alone but now.


PS..how many legs since breaking 500?

The FTSE only goes down when Im long (Unfortunately Im long now). I guess if I go short it will shoot back up to 4500.

So everyone will short the Dow and it will rise 100 pts.
Then everyone goes long in FTSE again and DOW drops in the afternoon and wipes out all the gains
