FTSE 100 January

Do you think I could sell it to Private Eye or something? Maybe
have I got news for you:)

sorry in a silly mood. Most boring week trading
for ages and not the best £ wise either. I make
it corrective but....and its a big but 60 min charts
have bottomed out...so its anyones guess.

but I can enjoy my Champers for poster of the week last week:)
It must be all the talking to myself they like

TWTWTW ?

will be away for a few days again next week.

it's 'er anniversary , so off to Aberglaslyn to celebrate/drown sorrows

they come round quick !

and each present has to be 'innovative' and expensive !

and exactly what she told me she wanted 3 months ago when I wasn't listening !!!

yes, but you notice it didn't make a new high.
So it could well be a 1/2 and steep drop on Monday
or another gap through resistance after a correction !

it's always ambiguous.

take her round the shops tomorrow and see what she points
out saying "isnt that nice"...might jog your memory :)

Have fun

In good elliott tradition, I have now modified my wave count with the benefit of hindsight !
Still no guarantee that it is right of course but that is in the nature of the beast.

The wave count looks and feels right but is nevertheless something of a puzzle.
There may be something unravelling here of which we are not yet aware !

However, in the meantime,

The false break of the fib at 4446 seems well behind us.

The 'b' wave on 13th seems to be providing support and with a fair wind we may soon see 4500 again ?
But then what ?

I suspect caution may be the watchword for a while.

thanks for that jon

it would be nice if others would post their thoughts as well.

quick question- Lee you have used CCI on your charts before(i think)?
What do you think of it? It seems quite good if you look for
higher lows and divergances etc although Im not too sure about the intended use of buying and selling on break above/below 150? Any ideas?

I know what you mean, I tend to only look at it on 15 min chart as it always seems to be pointing in the direction of the trend with the aiq settings. It does show extremes up quite well also.

Not a great user of it tho.

Poster of the week !

Sorry, but I hadn't read that weeks diary. Well done !

The first Greystone "Poster of the Week" for 2004 is Hooya who has already ensured that the FTSE 100 Daytraders' Thread-2004 got off to a great start and has popped up with regularity on many other threads I have visited this week - always with something constructive to add. Hooya is a perfect example of the quality posters who make the ADVFN Bulletin Boards the leaders. Congratulations Hooya! If you mail me a delivery address, I will be pleased to get a super bottle of champagne on its way to you.([email protected])

Still waiting to hear what I won as MOTM
perhaps it's gonna be 4 1/3 bottles ?
