Looks now like it was a false break on S&P and after hours the price did recover.

That is not strong enough to reverse the late signal.
However there maybe a 'triangle' on S&P coming to an apex soon
so we should get a break there before long.
I can count a/b/c and d may be in progress.
If the pattern completes,it will finish with e and then move up having completed the correction.
If the pattern does not complete, we will have a platypus to deal with.
Watch the apex which may come on Monday.

A gambler's lament
Well I got as bored as hell
so I took a punt on Shell
the base it looked secure(ish)
and the volume nicely high(ish)
but what I didn't spot
('cos I didn't look a lot)
was NEWS due out today
more problems on the way?
Volume high, but little move
means sellers do still rove
and with the news so near

opening is stronger than expected. Peeking above the top line at the moment.
usual plethora of possibilities exist but watch out for a failure below wednesday's high.(Index may opening it's shoulders for a steep fall)
on the upside ?
my rsi is now back to 50 so a swing failure is always possible.
Needs to break above bottom line , now around wednesdays high.

if we fill the gap and head towards the lower line on my chart,
as Bonsai said there is a potential right shoulder being formed which would take us to the low or still the lower trendline but on a line chart will give us a higher low but slightly lower than yesterdays low....(if that makes sense:-()

lol Bonsai,morning! this is what made it worse.. one of my mates volunteered to go in goal for the first half and he was dire, essentially gifting them two goals by half time. So yours truly donned the gloves to disastrous effect. The post-match pint didnt alleviate the frustration.

speaking of bets..did you hear about the two bets on the Man Citty game the other night. One guy bet £100 at 250-1 when they were 3-0 down to win.....won £25k....and there was also a guy who but £25k on Spurs to win (not sure at what point in the game) at 1-25......ooops🙂
