imo it's bouncing off the support @ 1.484 before tanking further, may take until this afternoon
 
have any of you chaps used forex options? wondering if they may be a useful hedge for long term trades but don't come across anyone mentioning them at all

yeh i would if trading big size, problem is there mostly european style which isnt the best, but you could get american options on a fx ETF tho
 
because of the double top at 1.4965 the 1.4845 support is very meaningful.. I'm in at 1.485 and out with -25 pips on a break of 1.4845 support

EU's Juncker says "could become concerned" on EUR "at certain juncture"
EU COMMENTARY
Says:
- Strong USD in interest of US economy.
- "We don't like excessive volatility" in currencies.
- Not too much concerned by current FX rates, could become more concerned if EUR rises.
- To visit China with ECB's Trichet, EU's Almunia by year end.

beebs the measured move on a break of 1.4844 is 1.48715 because of the 1hr double top.. get out below 1.4844 ..

I'm long Aussie btw
