Four further trades for 0, 0, +20, 0 for a net of +10 pips for the day.

DOW taking a pounding today which is in line with my continued short direction from the DOW signals.

A slightly later signal, but you'll know why! Not quite sure what the effect of todays move will have on the signals performance over the next few days, but I'll stay focussed and play by the rules.

What can I say? Today has been the biggest day in my (relatively short) trading career. I've been short the DOW as per my signals and today alone seen my balance increase by over £4000. It just goes to show that the time and effort put into this business is all worth while.

Welcome to the start of another month, hope you fared well in February, I cannot believe 2 months of the year are gone already.

A very busy morning for me today with not much progress through ten trades for 0, 0, -5, 0, +15, 0, -10, -10 , 0, -5 for -15 pip loss so far today.

US News this afternoon at 1330 and 1500.

Its worth noting that this represents 82 trading days during the 4 month timespan where 76% of those days ended in profit, 20% in loss and the balance of 4% as breakeven.

The Daily DOW Signal for the close on 05/03/2007 is:

Now, this is where I start to worry and re-look at all my signals and past performance, we're clearly in a strong downward mover, which part of my signal indicates - strength of current move, and this part is currently showing a very strong measure of move, however, the direction is completely wrong based on the past few days since the change to long, so I may take the opportunity to review the direction side further over this week.

However, I will also continue to post as per the signals as they are, which gave the previous performance, however such a strong move hadnt been witnessed in the test period.

Adapt and refine, its the only way to stay ahead of the game.
