Hi Neil
No I went short yesterday for loss of 30. Yes it was a 'mistake' should have gone long.
Ive put my stop at 17870, 50 points of pain is enough for anyone.

JPY stopped out for +71 so -9 on the day.

Could have been worse I suppose.

Glad to see there is space in the doghouse FC.

Anyone care to join us as long as it's not Stan Collymore with his reputation for "dogging"

Thought I might be able to retire after yesterday but not to be.

Just have to put up with driving the cab around London tonight to try to feed Mrs Wanderer and the little Wanderers.

May even have to go "South of the River"

EUR trading in tight range. Triple top on 5 min chart with RSI divergence. 1.1900 providing resistance but a strong move through this level could see 1.1950 - 1.2000. Conversely, another bounce off 1.1900 level could see a strong move south.

Let's wait and see!

Agree, Goober - choppy range making movement difficult. Had a buy signal earlier at 1865 with the intention of 1950 being hit. Not looking too likely now, with the £ also looking like it wants to fall.

getting busy isnt it in here..

in my current state of mind i think a break is just what i need.

gonna write down my trading rules, stick them to my monitor and grade each day.

if i stick to the plan +1
if i stick to the plan& make a profit +2

if i deviate from the plan & make a loss -1
if i deviate and make a profit -2 (designed to stop me deviating!)

at least keeping score in this way will stop me thinking about the other points that keep going begging lol

not me neil. stopped out earlier today, and on gardening leave for a few days until i can discipline myself into following my systems again. its like a horrid version of crufts' training.

have given back virtually all of friday's big win, and im not chuffed!

At least your stop took you out so it shows you can trade your system, win or lose. That way you come out of the dog house tomorrow and start gain.
