Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

Well we carried on from yesterday's +66 extreme (which was the biggest for a few months) and added to it by another +7 on the open taking it to +73 and it's trade about flat since then.

I'm -23 on the trade atm (+overnight costs).

little improvement - p'raps it'll happen while on putting out on the 10th - golf beckons

i had an order to go long GBPUSD at 1.6064, i forgot all about it, was using IG not tradefair. I was up 80pips. today but now down 65pips

Can you guys see a 3-6 months direction Globally?

Big question innoz

Everyone in this forum will have a different idea or opinion.
For me the big move in the last quarter is priceing in growth in the eurozone in 2013.
So for me we need to see the growth and sustained into 2013.
But not a fundamental trader.
Markets can go up on bad news and down on good news.

why dont you use stops / trailing stops

samirs I forgot about the trade, I posted it in here. but thankfully its come back to 1.6063 so down little, never used a mechanical trailing stop.

off topic,

I have read tolle's book the power of now. excellent book, great reviews on amazon us site.

my long term indicators say more upside ..6000 even 7000 for the ftse but famous last words:) trouble with long term is the drawdowns ...a good gauge might be s&p 1460 for longer term

I would not worry (easy to say as I'm out already). GBPUSD is still looking very strong since double bottom. Resistance around 1.6100.
