Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

US stocks dropped while the dollar advanced as traders digested the more hawkish tone from the Federal Reserve. The British pound swung to a gain after a split among policy makers over the path of interest rates unexpectedly deepened. The Fed raised interest rates for the second time in 2017 and Chair Janet Yellen suggested the strength of the U.S. labor market will ultimately prevail over recent weakness in inflation.

7420 sp zone...if it holds buyers might be in...I think scalps both ways atm... further down 7375 needs to hold (possible bear trap) if not bears will be in for a kill... all imho

zone 7375...seems to be holding...just...not a lot of upside though..careful

This isnt too much to ask, is it?

You may laugh but its way ahead of schedule. I may have been too pessimistic.

I'm not saying that the target is unrealistic. I agree that 2440 + is probably on the cards but simply that since the last big spike on June 1st there have been multiple resistance levels between 2420 and 2440 and the band from 2430 to 2440 looks like tough going.

IMHO, the trigger to rocket through to clear air is going to have to be more than the Fed and Yellen yellen...or in this case talking quite normally. The alternative ( which seems more likely to me) is rather more of a slog.

Meanwhile, back to the booze....

The trigger is the key!

The stock market is the worlds Biggest casino, and with any casino the house always wins.
All we need to do is work out who 'the house' is and how they rig the market then play their game.
If the s&p reaches my target (2443 or better by Friday that says my 'system' has some merit and I make $. :)

Well aware of your involvement in that high stakes competition :)

Still think that it's not going to happen in your time frame though possibly somewhat before hell freezes over:devilish:

The reward is outperforming your peers, there is no higher accolade.

That last little pullback on the dow made me sit up, didnt make a new high.
Its struggling at the 355 level.

Come on old girl.

There she goes.
Never doubted it for a minute. :whistling

You still long on Daxy? I'm getting bored of it but I've got a few Baht locked in from my own. I'd like to see it get kicked up higher...maybe the S&P will show it the way
:)

I love the spx! :)
Fun day indeed. Loaded up pretty good. Reading people panicking about the drop on twitter , worrying about a crash etc was the incentive to get aggressive looking for a pretty much CERTAIN bounce, lol
Might take tomorrow off
Hope you all killed it
