Early points banked.
But don't want to go on with it.
I know if I worked a lot more there would be more points on the table.
This is really frustrating me and not sure how to fix it.

Any ideas.

2 thoughts etc -

1. You seem to be very consistent and with a good high win ratio - so really if you can make say over 25+ points/ pips in just an hour or two - then on higher stake sizes et - thats all you ever need do. My aim at one time was just 20 pips off FX a day - but at that time I wanted it off 20 lot size. In the end I could not hack it - ie having losses of $2k etc put me off - but even at 1 or 2 lots then 25+ pips a session is good money

2. Other idea - pick the 2 sessions a day when you know you can be most focused and it ties in with the market normally being busy - ie early UK am - or US Open first 2 hrs etc. You can lose a lot of focus and also it not so productive spending say 2 to 3 hrs on a poor slow session like mid Asian or another few hours of the day - ie cherry pick your times to achieve your daily targets of either money or pips within just 4 to 10 trades - rather than just churn out 20 -40 trades and not find them so productive.

EA - Before and After the European Open at 7 00 am UK

Nice example of bias change coming in on this EA pair

Prior to the EO - then it had been a sell - with down bear bias

The fact the it was manipulated into an exact low at Open was to get the trend follower entering more sells - exactly before the market decided to take price back up 80 pips - more than a normal day swing traders stop size

Classic False sentiment intraday move - don't you just love the banksters ( lol)

Chart shows it best on the quick frames - in this case a 1 min LR set up

Now we need back over 4800 to take more buys - or for it to continual it fall under 4755 and 4745

In between - its a BTTZ area for now

Nice example of above its Morning LITs and a bullish traffic light sequence on the scalp LR's and then carrying on with the mid to longer LR settings resulting with me having confidence to scalp buy after 6 30 and after 6 50 / 51 am resulting on a 20 + pip so far move higher

Over 3 hrs later from the start of a nice bull intraday rally - we now see it was not sustainable and that after LO and after 8 00 am it was time to sell again

The PA over last hour as been ugly and bitty - not ideal - far smoother scalp moves to find on other pairs

Unless we can make back over 5140 and 50 - then any retraces up will stall again and fall

To carry on selling we need to see back under 5120 and 5100

Otherwise back to a 40 pip range

you are a talented trader my friend .....and you are displaying classic frustration patterns ......classic .....

there isn't a problem with your systems / strategy I suspect - so well done for the work there

the problem is you and your attitude towards the markets .....needs to adjust more to acceptance of what is happening ............

I can empathise 1000% ...............I am a pretty hot headed personality ...........my system after many years of fine tuning is great.......its me who is the issue mostly and my emotions when the market is slow or stagnant 😎😆

nothing gets better if you let emotions get in the way (this isn't the movies).........think iceman .........iceman

EU - Fortune telling - Midday Update

Since yesterday am - I have made many comments about the EU being bullish on PS above 0620 / 25

I will still sell it under 0615 - 0600 - 0590 etc - but above 0625 I favour higher

So far its only made approx 0670 - but this is how I see it on a 5 min LR chart - I dont use this for scalping - I prefer tick or 1 min - but at least it give a longer hindsight view of price structure on the small frames.

We have Dollar news at 1 30 pm - so all might change again for the US session

Here's the chart with a clear up channel atm

After 11 00 am another fall and under 5120 and 5100 down to 5090 area - a 40 pip fall

Bounces staying under 5111 are sell again

EJ - AM session - Why I have not been bothering with it

Not mentioned the EJ ( normally one of my favourite pairs ) much today

Here's why

PA after LO as been cr@p and although in a partly bullish PS - it's not been attractive enough to intraday trade - especially when you have easier pairs like the EA and GU etc

EU buy peaked so far at 0667

Taken 70% off last scalp buys

Will stay with 30% stake buys above 48 over news - if I get taken out - no problem - stop in profit

maybe should have had stop at 45 / 46 - but that would have meant less 30% profit

Yes - 46 or 47 would have been OK - trouble is its game playing now with 2 LH's from 0670

The latest scalp buy on the EU on from 1 39 pm and the 0652 area is such a tease

100% sure its being manipulated and orders balanced

So far cannot get over 0670/1

Need over 76 and 83 to look at more buys

Looks like 0673 is the high for now

Under 0667 it turned bearish and back to scalp sell

Need to see if 0676 is breached before 2 51 pm - cannot see it - but you never know

It took me maybe over a minute to type the above comment on the EA

By the time I posted it - it had fallen another 12 pips

4715/20 is an interim support - next one around the big round number

Both US news events have not really done much

the EU moved up 10 pips - but not convinced it going to try up more

Need last low to hold with no breach for at least another 20+ mins and that's not looking to good atm

Will pop back after 3 30 pm next
