Morning chaps. My short from 5329 is still hanging in the air with a stop above 5400 :(

Break of daily trendline is in that region, looks like early morning buy orders are trying to keep price away from it, but it keeps coming back.

It's just an observation of order taking place in the markets, with a confluence of price with time. This could mark a reversal point in the indicies

And the potential turning point is today-ish? I can't quite make it out on the chart.

It was actually yesterday but because of US holiday there could be light volume and more upside into end of the week. I have 29th Nov to 4th Dec as a major turning point if DOW is around 10,335.

Going long S&P 1099.8 .. rumour of bad confidence number shook the market and got traders short .. number was in fact ok.. should trade up a bit from here although oil is weighing on the market.

hearing old bid rumours on Infineon doing the rounds.. taking my money S&P @1105.70 .got lucky on those moves so making a run for it!

Good job, never regret a profit :) I've had the ftse rise 50 points on me in a few minutes and I didnt understand why so I let it run while I checked the news, etc.
Not that long after it had fallen back the whole 50 points again and I was left with like 20p profit

The sp500 is apparently at a vital juncture, 110.5 above is positive and maybe upto 50% fib at 112 and if we stay below 110.5 its negative and underwater

Since this is a bit of a dead week in america I guess that means low volume so I was expecting lots of positivity to occur but its already high I guess so...

I would agree a negative bias since eur/jpy fell below its 5 day moving average early this morning and the indexes also

On August 5th, 1620, the Mayflower and the Speedwell set sail from Southampton, England, for the Hudson River, in what is now New York.

Not long after they departed, the Speedwell began to leak and the ships were forced to stop in Dartmouth, England, for repairs. On August 21st, they left again, only to have new leaks force them to return to England once more, this time to Plymouth. There it was decided that the Speedwell could not be made seaworthy for such a voyage.

On September 6th, the Mayflower again set sail for the New World, this time alone. There were 102 passengers on board, most of whom were Pilgrims fleeing religious persecution.

For 2 ½ months, the passengers and crew endured cold, sickness, bad food, leaks that threatened to scuttle the ship and storms that blew them far off course, before landing at what is now Provincetown, on Cape Cod, on November 21st. After determining that the area was not suitable for settlement, they landed at what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts, on December 21st.

Despite the hardships, it was a successful crossing for that time in history, as only one person died. Nearly a year later, the Pilgrims celebrated a good harvest with the first Thanksgiving in the New World.
