exited for a few pips profit. The entry was not good. Right at the hook of either direction. I would wait for the ISM numbers whiplash to redo my analysis.

Mate, where is the FTSE call?

blix: lets see if ftse spikes up in 30 minute or so on US open, I have exited my position, uneasy with ftse behaviour.

ODL do volume on FTSE within Metatrader though I don't know if it's their own volume or the actual market, presume actual market but you can get a demo account with them and just keep renewing it.

cant find the link to open demo account on their website?

yeah lonlad, i'm gutted now.

my 9 % return would at this moment be 19 %, probably rising if the 3pm figures are good.

my main problem recently is selling a good call too early, but as you rightly pointed out, better to bemoan a lost profit than a loss on your account size.

Boy what a choppy market today!
Closed my FTSE short with 35 points profit at 4855.
Went long SP500 from 1021.5 exited at 1027.5 for 60 points profit.
At the moment no open positions.
