Hi Vol,

Thanks for following along on this thread . No, that is not a valid entry as bar number 4 closed below the MA suggesting trend reversal. As long as all the candles are on one side of the MA you're good with following the rules.

Additionally, you can have tails sticking out of the MA's but the close must be inside the MA. Please refer to my next post of two trades yesterday. :smart:

Is there any way of finding out what the MA settings are? I use Sharescope, any one have any ideas?

You can view the source of any Metatrader .mq4 file by opening it in Notepad.

The settings are 37, 39, 41, 44, 47 and 50 Exponential ma's.

USDJPY June 02

Here is a trade that took place on USDJPY today on the 15min chart.

There was a nice smooth consecutive lower highs and finally at the break of the last one, there was a long trade.

USDCHF June 03

Here is a trade that occurred yesterday on USDCHF 15 min charts.

There was a nice consecutive higher low, touched the MA, then at the break of the highest low, we entered short. Trade gave a good 1:1.5 risk to reward in 40 mins.

it's strange how different systems can give the same signals. I read your charts as showing Pin bars at MAs. 2 longs and a short which all were good for some profit.
