Trump Presidency and the Consequences

Nearly Half Of Canadians Oppose The Influx Of Migrants From U.S.

There may be as much anti-immigration sentiment on the other side of the border as there is in the U.S.

More refugees are crossing the border from the U.S. into Canada to escape President Donald Trump’s hostile immigration policies, but new data suggests that Canadians may be equally unwelcoming.

Forty-eight percent of Canadians think border crossers should be sent back to the U.S., according to the results of a survey released on Monday by Reuters and Ipsos, a leading market research firm. Of the 1001 people surveyed, 36 percent said Canada should let them stay and “seek refugee status.”

Comey Deals Trump a Political Blow When He Can Least Afford It

Very interesting reading.

I'm shocked and stunned some republicans are suggesting something like this...

But while some Republicans on the committee suggested Clinton’s campaign may have collaborated with Russians, Comey bluntly rejected that notion. He said Putin’s goal was to undermine the former secretary of state’s candidacy while aiding Trump’s, as U.S. intelligence agencies concluded in January.

There is truth, fact, alternative facts and then Republicans living in the 4th dimension...

Hollywood fiction or what?

Donald Trump will resign 'soon', says top Democrat Dianne Feinstein

Referencing recent trips to Dubai by Mr Trump’s sons, Donald Jr and Eric, where they opened a new golf club, she said: “I think sending sons to another country to make a financial deal for his company and then have that covered with Government expenses, I believe those Government expenses should not be allowed.

Stephen Hawking: 'I may not be welcome' in Trump's America

Possible explanations for Hawking's simpletonian attitude:

Since ALS has left him almost entirely paralyzed, to speak, he has an infrared sensor mounted on his eyeglasses that picks up twitches from a muscle in his cheek and transmits them to a screen with scrolling letters, stopping at each desired letter. He averages about a word a minute.

Eight years prior, Jane Hawking.... recounts in grim detail her miserable marriage to the “Master of the Universe,” and her determination to stay married to him even as his disease—and ego—began to consume him in equal measure. She details how he, for many years, wanted no one but her to wash, clothe, and feed him. How he was so reluctant to use a wheelchair that she’d be balancing him on one arm and a toddler with the other. How her role became more “maternal rather than marital,” and branding Hawking an “all-powerful emperor” and “masterly puppeteer.” Later, she wrote, “It was becoming very difficult—unnatural, even—to feel desire for someone with the body of a Holocaust victim and the undeniable needs of an infant.”

In a fun aside, during this period, Hawking would enjoy running over the toes of people he didn’t like with his wheelchair. So in 1976, when Hawking was invited to attend Prince Charles’s induction into the Royal Society, he gave him the business. “The prince was intrigued by Hawking’s wheelchair, and Hawking, twirling it around to demonstrate its capabilities, carelessly ran over Prince Charles’s toes,” according to the biography Stephen Hawking: An Unfettered Mind. “One of Hawking’s regrets in life was not having an opportunity to run over Margaret Thatcher’s toes.”

It seems like Hawking has a little bit more Trump in him than he's letting on.

"Popular conservative radio host Michael Savage was allegedly attacked this week while committing the horrific crime of dining while a Trump supporter.

The outspoken Savage was eating at a California restaurant when a patron allegedly noticed him, yelled at him and then assaulted him. The radio host’s assailant even kicked his accompanying poodle."

The anti-Trump left needs to address their inner-fascistic streak before there is more violence from them, like the assault of Michael Savage and his poodle and Stephen Hawking's documented history of violence!

Face it republicans, the establishment is engineering reality to kick him out just like they engineered the media polls in 2016......and he's playing the game like a retard. They probably wire tapped him but the intelligence docs are hidden, they probably have operatives in the gop and whitehouse leaking info and they probably will drop the big bomb much later. What does he do.....focus on banning muslims and build the border. Simple politics dictates "give the people bread and they will be your fortress".......kicking out a mexican or a muslim will not protect him or his administration from the establishment....fixing the economy will

The president can't immediately fix the economy. Trump's social policies of America first, reduced unskilled immigration and deregulation will gradually herald a new dawn of 21st century American exceptionalism.

Fox News has reportedly suspended judicial commentator Andrew Napolitano over his unverified claims that British intelligence wiretapped Trump Tower last year for President Barack Obama.

The Los Angeles Times said Napolitano, the network’s senior judicial analyst, has been taken off the air “indefinitely” for the report, which British intelligence blasted as “nonsense” and “utterly ridiculous.”

Napolitano’s report was cited last week by President Donald Trump as evidence to back his repeated claims that he was wiretapped by Obama.

“All we did was quote a certain very talented legal mind who was the one responsible for saying that on television,” Trump said, referring to Napolitano. “You shouldn’t be talking to me, you should be talking to Fox.”

Fox News distanced itself from Napolitano’s claims.

“Fox News cannot confirm Judge Napolitano’s commentary,” anchor Shepard Smith said last week. “Fox News knows of no evidence of any kind that the now-president of the United States was surveilled at any time, in any way. Full stop.”

When President Donald Trump met the liberal media’s months of unsubstantiated “Russia” allegations against him with an unsubstantiated allegation of his own against former President Barack Obama, Democrats and their “journalist” allies immediately lost their minds and took turns castigating and mocking Trump for daring to suggest that Obama had spied on his 2016 campaign.

The furiously over-the-top reaction to Trump’s allegation spurred a defense of the current president from a seemingly unlikely source — former Ohio Democrat Rep. Dennis Kucinich — who in an op-ed for Fox News revealed that he had been spied on by the Obama administration.

Kucinich recalled how a conversation he had held with a high-ranking Libyan official in 2011 about congressional efforts to deescalate the Obama administration’s military ventures in the North African nation had been recorded and eventually revealed to him by a reporter for The Washington Times in 2015.

I notice Trump likes to use Obama a great deal in his talks and speeches.

It's not like his talking about what's new and his ambitions for all the good things he wants to do.

It's more like talking about the past and Obama did this and Obama did that.

He really needs to drop his luggage off, now that his arrived at the White House and get on with his work.

Coming off a string of high-profile meetings, former President Barack Obama made an unannounced return to Hawaii Monday.

Just three months removed from his last official holiday visit as president, Obama was spotted dining at Buzz’s Lanikai Monday night.

Local Democrats tried “their best to keep it under wraps the whole day.”

Then on Wednesday President Donald Trump’s revised travel ban was put on hold by US District Court Judge Derrick Watson in Honolulu, Hawaii after hearing arguments that the executive order discriminates on the basis of nationality.

Judge Watson believes Somalis and Yemenis have the same constitutional rights as American citizens.

UPDATE: Also — the judge, one Judge Watson, managed to produce a 43-page decision within two hours of the case being filed.

Those whose universe hasn't included Donald Trump (being a tabloid darling for decades, he's been impossible to avoid here) may not understand his avoidance of responsibility and his focus on placing the blame for failures elsewhere (his bankruptcies are only one example). Obama is simply a bright, shiny object to divert attention from all that has gone and is going wrong with the Trump "presidency". As for his plan, he doesn't have one other than to do whatever appeals to his peeps so that they will cheer him (notice where he regularly goes for his speeches and rallies). But there's only so much one can do with executive orders. And all of this will wind down quickly.

No matter how this resolves itself, Trump will find someone or something else to blame, which is why, like Nixon, it is far more likely that he will resign than allow himself to be impeached.

Yep agree and can see it unfolding too. Never seen anyone so bad.

Reminds me of Chavez the Venezuelan leader who lost his way up his own backside.

Linda Preast has used a wheelchair since she had a stroke two years ago and now relies on Meals on Wheels, a service that provides food to millions of people with disabilities and the elderly. The 56-year-old Georgia resident never envisioned when she voted for President Donald Trump that he’d propose slashing funding for the programs.

“Are you surprised?” CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller asked Preast at her home in Jones County Saturday.

“Yeah,” Preast said. “Because he was told ― I was under the influence that he was going to help us.”

Oh, you mean "peeps" as in all those Americans who elected him president, i.e., his constituency. He is supposed to do that.

Basically, what you have admitted to, is that he is an agenda-less president only interested in what his "peeps" wants. Wow, you mean we elected a president only interested in his constituency. Say it isn't so. How horrible he should be interested in what his "peeps" wants.

Between a rock and a hard place. If the healthcare bill doesn't pass, Republicans lose seats for not fulfilling their promises. If the healthcare bill does pass, Trump's peeps get screwed because their premiums go up or they lose their insurance entirely and Republicans lose seats.

We can see today the results in the market of Comey's revelations. What happens if the healthcare bill doesn't pass? Or gets tied up in intramural wrangling for weeks? Months? And everything else waits? During an ongoing FBI investigation?

Trump should worry more about what happens if the GOP health bill passes
