Trump Presidency and the Consequences

I'm still baffled as to what fears the USA has.

It's not a matter of fear but of "manifest destiny", the idea that we have the right, which is why we egged the Mexicans on into the 1846 war which brought us half of Texas and Colorado plus New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and California, not to mention butting in to Hawaii's business and practically destroying their culture. England had much the same motivation when it began building its empire. But then so did the Belgians, the Dutch, the Spanish, the French. The only reason why we are able to keep doing it is because we have the money. England's (et al) money was squandered on WW2. Imagine what Europe, Eastern and Western, would be like if the Germans, Japanese, and Italians had stayed within their respective borders and the War had never happened.

(Reuters) The White House has assured the UK Government that allegations that Britain’s GCHQ spied on Donald Trump will not be repeated, Prime Minister Theresa May’s official spokesman has said.

The charge, made on Tuesday by Fox News analyst Andrew Napolitano, that the UK’s signals intelligence agency GCHQ had helped Obama to wire tap Trump after his victory in last year’s U.S. presidential election, was “ridiculous,” the spokesman said.

H.R. McMaster, national security advisor, and press secretary Sean Spicer both conveyed their apologies, according to several news outlets. But the White House denied having apologized on Friday:

JUST IN: WH suggests Spicer/McMaster did NOT apologize to UK. They “explained that Mr. Spicer was simply pointing to public reports.”

— Steven Portnoy (@stevenportnoy) March 17, 2017
“We’ve made clear to the administration that these claims are ridiculous and they should be ignored and we’ve received assurances that these allegations will not be repeated,” May’s spokesman told reporters.

“We have a close special relationship with the White House and that allows us to raise concerns as and when they arise as was true in this case.”

Representatives for the White House did not immediately reply to a request seeking comment following May’s spokesman’s remarks.

This is an odd story. Either there's no truth in it whatsoever and it's another example of 'fake news' which, for some bizarre reason, the White House Press Spokesman chose to accept and regurgitate without checking it out - or it's true. If, as we are being lead to believe, it's the former - then this is very worrying and if I was Mr. Trump I'd give Mr. Spicer his P45 - or whatever the U.S. equivalent is - as the man is clearly incompetent and presents a hazard to the 'special relationship'. If there's any truth to it, then said special relationship is going to be a quagmire or brown sticky stuff anyway. Either way, this isn't good.

If Mr. Trump doesn't trust his own intelligence services, then it's highly unlikely he's going to have a high opinion about ours. In the absence of any evidence to support the claim (that GCHQ spied on Mr. Trump), I'm inclined to think it's hogwash. But, as with anything involving intelligence agencies, they're not in the business of playing with a straight bat, being transparent and above board.
Tim.

The whole wire-tapping thing is most likely an effort to distract attention from more important subjects, e.g., the relationship with Russia. There is so much going on, too much to post, particularly since so few really care about it. But the US is inextricably tied to what's going on in Europe with regard to the far right. One hopes that Europe is smarter than the US, but that has yet to be determined.

In the meantime, look closely at Trump's advisers, those he chooses to have closest to him, particularly Steve Bannon. Avoid unpleasant surprises.

It's all true and all these intelligence bodies does the same or tries to do the same as best they can. It's their business.

What is odd is that the White House Press Secretary deems it upon it self to quote other media source outlets. Amateurish, jokers and clowns bringing the White House into disrepute.

How many times has it been thus far?

US (Empire :p) from 339,255 sq mi (13 states) to 3,531,905 sq mi now. 1,041% increase in size.
British Empire from 5,124,000 sq mi to 94,058 sq mi. 98.1% decrease in size.

Donald Trump is already a hero to many in eastern Kentucky.

"I voted for Trump 100%," says Barbara Puckett, a 55-year-old mom, who lives in the small and friendly town of Beattyville. "It's the most hopeful I've been in a long time now that he's in there."

Trump won 81% of the vote in Beattyville. People here love that Trump doesn't "sugarcoat" anything. They feel he understands them, even though he's a billionaire.

Time for a coal revival?

The coal and oil jobs are almost all gone, but already there's buzz Trump is reviving the industry.

Donna Coomer is the manager of a busy Valero gas station in the heart of Beattyville. She knows the names of most people who come in and makes small-town chatter with folks. Mere days after Trump's inauguration, she heard coal trucks were rumbling again.

"Someone told me this morning that in eastern Kentucky the coal trucks are already out and about," Coomer told CNNMoney, beaming. She voted for Obama but feels he was just a good talker who did little for Kentucky. Trump got her vote this time. She's praying for the new president.

An inspiring news story above about how these good folks are rooting for Trump to bring jobs back to the impoverished areas of USA.

More ebullient reactions from Trump supporters following the good news of his electoral victory. The nation is ready to be rebuilt in the aftermath of Obama's war on Americans!

US obsessed with 'WAR'

War this war that!

Rebuild the nation after Obama's War on America...

All the guy did was to bring home American soldiers from fighting stupid wars against countries who had absolute FA to do with 9/11 and try to improve the health of Americans.

That is termed war on America.:LOL::LOL:

Hate to imagine what a real war on America might look like.:cry::cry:

) "I don’t believe it is possible to transcend race in this country. Race is a factor in this society. The legacy of Jim Crow and slavery has not gone away. It is not an accident that African-Americans experience high crime rates, are poor, and have less wealth. It is a direct result of our racial history." -- Barack Obama

"You got into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." -- Barack Obama

"It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks' greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere...That's the world! On which hope sits!" -- Barack Obama quotes Rev. Wright

Did Obama only bring back, Black American soldiers and leave the Whites to continue fighting and being picked out by IEDs?

How many 000 American soldiers have lost a limb to an IED other than those that have died?

Did Obama only provide Medicare for Black people and exclude all White people?

"The Department of Justice is America’s premier federal law enforcement agency. And according to J. Christian Adams, it’s also a base used by leftwing radicals to impose a fringe agenda on the American people.

A five-year veteran of the DOJ and a key attorney in pursuing the New Black Panther voter intimidation case, Adams recounts the shocking story of how a once-storied federal agency, the DOJ’s Civil Rights division has degenerated into a politicized fiefdom for far-left militants, where the enforcement of the law depends on the race of the victim.

In Injustice, Adams reveals:

The inside story of how the Obama DOJ spiked the voter intimidation lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party—and the Panthers’ little-known public appearance with Obama
How the Obama administration changed DOJ hiring policy to ensure radical leftists would dominate the Civil Rights Division
The Obama DOJ’s bizarre agenda, from insisting on kids’ rights to attend school dressed as transvestites, to litigating for teachers’ rights to take paid vacations to Mecca
How the DOJ has repeatedly sided with political bosses who flagrantly disenfranchise entire communities of white voters
Why the DOJ’s fixation on racial grievance threatens the integrity of the 2012 elections

If you thought the federal government was dedicated to race-neutral equal protection, Injustice will set you straight. This searing indictment of government malfeasance unveils the astonishing political extremism and outright lawlessness that now infects on of the government’s most powerful agencies. With everything from civil rights laws to America’s voting system at risk, Adams sound the alarm on a gathering threat to our nation’s future."

http://www.wnd.com/2016/06/eric-holder-fingerprinting-uber-drivers-is-racist/

"Former Attorney General Eric Holder has come out against proposals in Chicago and New Jersey to require fingerprint background checks of drivers for ride-hailing platforms such as Uber and Lyft.

Why would Obama’s onetime top lawman come out against regulation that is supposed to protect the riding public? Credit the intersection of two forces. First, Holder’s tony corporate law firm, Covington & Burling, represents Uber. Also, as Holder sees it, requiring drivers to submit fingerprints may “have a discriminatory impact on communities of color.”"
