Can you explain this please as it appears to me to be a non sequitur? I understand completely the Latin phrase but don't understand how it relates to journalists being arrested for doing their job which, let's face it, is increasingly rare these days because most journalists fear being 'cancelled', losing their jobs and/or being arrested if they have the temerity to deviate even slightly from the state propaganda script.
