I honestly think forex is harder. You have 2 instruments rather than just 1

Just out of curiosity Pat, the short from 41 on ES was an obvious play. Did you enter whilst it was consolidating or did you wait until 10:36 with a 1.5pt confirmation to confirm you entry?

ignoring small pullback fluctuations but slightly nervous this may prove a bottom. It has broken out of trendlines

Just curious more than anything else. As you trade off a chart alone (I think this is the case, so correct me if I am wrong) I am curious what makes you pull the trigger.

e2a - this is what I see:

a. VPOC on ES moved down to 37.50 from 41.00 - buyers shutting off sellers
b. Can see from profile the auction rotated from about 40.50
c. Confluence of liquidity at 41 with auction rotation at 41.50 would means there will be trade at this level, especially the trapped longs of which there are quite a few as 41 was the previous VPOC
d. At worst this will cause a long liquidation of a couple of points, at best it will re-test down to the low where a ledge caused by buyers is forming at 36.75

TBH I haven't a clue what VPOC etc. is - sounds great though. You are right I just trade off the simple charts Fins supplies. And not off a sophisticated platform - the costs put me off.
