I Like trades to be placed near solid support.

I don't trade breakouts.

I use daily candle charts looking for reversals off support and resistance.

1 or 2 other chart patterns like cup and handle. Basics really!

Not worked out my charting software properly yet but heres an eg with yahoo. Bought csco on 29.04.05 near close after it tested support 1701. Views appreciated.
