Greece may exit the Euro ?

Haha quite correct yes and still sharp as a razor! (y)

Have to start calling you Mr Gillette.

That might be the second beer talking :drunk:

I guess posts like these are the reason you already have over 10,000 posts. :whistling

Brexit, Grexit with the possibility of Spexit!

Nothing would make me happier than to see this come to fruition.

Why would you want something like that now?

What's your angle?

I am hoping that these countries go further into financial ruin because it makes things so much cheaper. Look at how far the euro has fallen! Additionally, currencies tied to the euro have also fallen. The SEK, DKK, NOK have fallen. Sweden requires SEK 50.000 to incorporate. Denmark requires DKK 50.000. Norway requires about the same. about a year ago it would have cost me $7,352 in Sweden $8,620 in Denmark and $8,278 in Norway. Now those figures would be $6,105, $7,692 and $6,377. I have been eyeballing a lease for a while in Denmark. It is 22% cheaper now in Denmark, 26% cheaper in Sweden and 29% cheaper in Norway. Let us not forget about the euro. If you had €10,000 in the bank last year, you now have 19% less buying power.

Drop, baby, drop!

So you sell flat pack furniture... Nice. (y)

What's it like in Ikea boardroom then?

Collateral collateral collateral

A ten year old knows that if somebody is stupid enough to lend money without some safeguards then they are just asking for trouble.

The world map would soon take a lot of new shapes if the defaulting country had to have a firesale of its remaining assets to cover costs. A sort of Darwinianism of major proporrtions!

A firesale of these defaulting countries would be great. (y) Save the date - July 20. If left-leaning socialism was a recipe for success, then Greece and Cyprus and most of southern Europe wouldn't be in so much trouble.

Wit and humour can't be bought or taught old boy. They take literally years to acquire.

You are obviously not English, irrespective of where your genes are from.

Ask for your money back. :)

You ramble quite a bit. You never seem to follow through with a coherent train of thought. I talk about currency fluctuations and you bring up flat pack furniture and Ikea. Is Ikea suppose to be a pejorative?

Can you not read? I never said I was English.

Why would I want British teeth?

Many people are discussing the union and the arguments for and against, and all we get from you are repeated blurbs about superiority of Northern Europeans in the gene pool, how US is 10x size of EU combined and how you have benefited from some simple currency fluctuations??? Okeaaay... :whistling

Never thought of it that way before. You are very good. Top man. Well done.

Have a great weekend. Best ever (y)

You say that you are trying to have a real discussion but you continually go off the rails and post b.s. comments. So, what you are really saying, is that you want to be the only one posting b.s. comments. My last post had nothing to do with superiority. You continually preach left-leaning socialism is the best. I was asking a valid question to that end. It is either a non-committal statement or an off the rails statement from you. Why post if you don't want to have a debate?

so did you watch the video then?

Am liking the fire btw!

Was Friday was all about Greece then?

Possibly a lot of that is already priced in - although the few holders of their debt were probably making a last dash for the exit - I think the negative mood was more about the 32 billion Euros the Italian government will have to fork out if the court rules their public sector pay freeze retrospectively illegal.

I must say it's nice to have someone posting about Greece in the Grexit thread. @Atilla

People keep talking about things being priced in. They seems to raise two questions or one question and a statement. "Priced in" is roundabout way of saying they don't know the reason or are too lazy to provide an explanation. Being "priced in" is not a catch-all explanation. Secondly, priced into what?

Why is it nobody blames and at least shames the people responsible for the Greek tragedy and suffering or is it the new moral code coming to their rescue as they relax on the ill-gotten millions in far away places ?

Silly me, I forget its them that makes the laws

Too lazy...hmm, well that depends on who is asking the question and the manner in which they are doing so. I guess, in your case, at least google is your friend.

Secondly, I think, specifically, priced into the import cost of bananas.

One born every minute. One signs up here every month.

It is not the fact of being "too lazy". It is more to do with not being interested enough. Everything is said to have a value and the Greek , or any other situation, in this capitalist world is priced into the market. hhiusa, being American, would not know anything about that, of course.
