I am intrigued you are using Market Profile on the cash market when one cannot actually trade the index, just its members. Surely, the actual future index is more appropriate?

I have just been reading about a guy on elitetrader.com (marketsurfer) that uses a trailing stop of 50% of his profit. Anybody use or has tried that method?

my original signal on this trade was the 1 day sma on my chart
so that remains my stop and becomes a trailing stop as it
continues to climb
unless or until some other price action changes my mind.
4280 may yet be a problem even if all seems to go well.
but the a/d seems perky so far.

on the downside, we have yet to take out yesterdays late spike.

I opened a small long- see how it goes. My analysis says up for at least 3 days, but if today closes down I'll have to reassess. Target high on the 16th/17th, unless it goes down :cheesy: Stops at this mornings low for me as that would say something else is going on.

so only yesterdays high in the way

added a 3rd long

its a long way to have come just to go back down ?

a/d is still improving but I see some sort of resistance
just above 94

so that's a new negative.
and we have left a gap or two on the way up.

so now have a new stop.

will somebody please tell the futures that fair value is 14pts.
