well we got a bounce of the old uptrendline...just hope we dont gap down tomorrow otherwise we could be stuck in this range forever

still too soon, I think, to draw any conclusions from this decline.
it is only 2 hrs old after all.

it counts well as both a/b/c or 1/2/3 (and the mm's no doubt know that as well)

but 4400 is not the resistance area, I would suggest.
It just looks like that at the moment.
we may find more severe resistance higher up.

Well we can put that puff in the FTSE 100 down to both BP and Shell. For once the oils actually helped the index.

Indeed. Off back to my cave to take stock.

For all you trendline watchers, the trendline off both 4424 and 4417 appears to have repelled the oily advance (so far). In reality it is all down to the good old USA. Fed decision at 7.15 pm to-night.

As further proof of the impact of the oils, note the more subdued performance by the FTSE250 to-day compared to the FTSE100.

Morning, could get a good swing today. Ideally I would like to see a low early this moring, then the swing back up, maybe to close the gap and then a top just after US open.
