just a quickie..is it possible the get these charts the recognise when a trend is in place..or is this getting in program writing..

most free sites just offer the more standard t/a like sma's, rsi or macd's etc. Some offer bolly bands but as far as I know no-one offers specific trendhunting analysis.

I have been using auto-refresh stockcharts for a while, thanks to Bonsai's enlightenment. You might want to look at indicators like ADX/DI and Parabolic SAR to help with analysing trend - here's an example:

You have shown how to do this for charts, I wonder if something like this will work for: Text........maybe replace the "...src img...." with something else?
