for about 8 runner out off 22. I have broken it down to 3
so small stakes would apply.

This horse is improving with each run, hes latest win was in a lesser
grade then this one, hence hes upped in grade and taking on some
fairly good handicappers, but i personally believe that if he is still improving
( which he is in my opinion ) he must be in the shake up, so if he performs
to hes best and finds the necessary improvement he must be involved in the finish.

As you have said - can't win all the time.

Never mind, theres always another day - you win some - you lose some
The main thing is to try and show a profit in the long run - slowly and hopefully so

I am trying to come up with a simple winning racing system.

Do you think the following system would be workable ?

You pick out all the races for the day which have 10 runners or less.

You identify all the 3-1 shots ( or as near to 3-1 as you can get ).

Of these you select the 4 best based on form, tipsters comments, going etc...

You place the same stake on all 4 horses to win.

In order to break even you only need 1 horse to win.

So, over time if you can get better than a 25% win rate you will be ahead.

Do you think this could work ?

If not, why not ?

Would be grateful for your comments.
