Country Ken's Tips and racing discussions

Hello Everyone,

I had to consider if im to carry on regardless of my health problems,
but sadly i do feel that i can't keep it up as much as i would love to
carry on.
For these past few weeks i honestly don't know how i managed to
carry on - but i did as i thought it would be o.k.
I sincerely trust that i have given you some enjoyment out of racing.
I did state that if a profit is made we could look at it as a bonus, well
at least i can look back and say, not only did i give some or most of
you a certain amount of enjoyment i even gave a small profit, which
i am pleased to those who stuck with my tips even through the bad
runs which i had, thank you for having faith in me as it could have
gone the other way.

I wish one and all the very best in what you do in your own field.
I also wish you all the best in life.

Theres one thing i wish to put on record, which is, people like
salty, mayoman and a couple others who not only gave me a lot
of stick in which i must say i took it on the chin and carried on.
They have even stated that i would be a loser, well they can eat
their own words now, but in any case, im not bothered about
people like them, they do have some sort of problems and i hope
that they can one day recognize this and improve their outlook to
life and consider that we are all human beings just like them, not
just a piece of wood so to speak.

sorry to here you are not in the best of health ken,i can honestly say your tips and advice towards racing were of great help and provided a bit of fun to these boards. i know there was a lot of us who keenly looked forward to your selections and i for one can say you will be greatly missed.take care and do try and post once in a while when possible.good luck.

You've opened the eyes of many here to the world of horse racing, and for the enjoyment from that many thanks. You have also proven (over many 'trades') that with a lifetime's expertise a profit can be extracted form the bookies, which is probably more than the vast majority of members of these boards can honestly say regarding their brokers! And like you always said, it's all fun anyway , and it hasn't cost anyone anything. 😆

The thread has been fun to read and contribute to as well, and you have come out of any confrontations fully vindicated and in good regard. All the best with your health problems, and look in and say hallo from time to time please.

Hi All,

To those who posted on here wishing me well, i am truly
deeply honoured and touched with your kind and lovely
words, i don't know how to thank you, but i will say -

I thank you a million times guys.

Im glad that i have given you some sort of enjoyment
and also proved that in racing, with hard word and a
deep understanding of the game, a profit can be made,
who said it can't LOL
Its not easy as you would have seen that i had to come
from behind and still did it, may be a bit of luck along the
way, we all need luck at most time.
I suppose someone was looking down on me lol

Heres a joke guys, hope you like it and you might have
heard it too.

Here goes,

This rabbit goes to this shop and asked the shopkeeper
if he sold any carrots, the shop keeper said, no, but told
the rabbit that if he went further down the road, he would
find a grocery shop so off went the rabbit.

The next day, the rabbit went into the same shop ( the 1st one lol )
and asked the same shop keeper if he sold any carrots, the
shop keeper replied, i told you yesterday that i don't sell carrots
and told you where to go to get some.
So off went the rabbit.

The next day, the rabbit went into the same shop and asked
the same shop keeper the same question, this time the shop
keeper got annoyed at the rabbit and said, if you ever come back
and ask me the same question, i will personally string you up
with a piece of rope, so go on off you go, so off went the rabbit.

The next day, the rabbit went into the same shop and this time
the rabbit asked the same shop keeper, do you sell any rope,
the shop keeper looked at the rabbit and said no, i do not sell
any rope, the rabbit then said, well then, do you bloody well sell
any carrots.

If its to do with MayoMan, yes, im the one.

I will not stand for what that bad apple said about me,
which is all untrue.
I suppose i should have just left it, but at that moment
i did what i had to do.
I don't know why they removed it when it was true about
that bad apple.

May i ask, why did you wish to know, just curious.
