! have, always, thought that Theresa was following the line that would get her the best job. That does not mean that she will not do the best that she can, now that the Brexiters have won the vote. It may be that she is a realist and is making the best of what she has. She is a politician and will have her share of enemies.

It is curious that every time they speak on the box it is Jeremy, this, David that--not to say Boris, Nigel, and the rest. They'd cut each other's throats if they thought it would help get them ahead. All for the good of the nation, of course.

Here, the names are different, Pedro, Pablo, Felipe, etc. but the blade is just as sharp and deadly! They, also, smile when doing it. Oh, that Spanish smile!:cheesy:

Didn't this happen before when England refuse not to be part of Germany hegemony? (twice?)
I might be wrong and put it a bit too simplistically........

History is repeating itself once more, only the methods and tools are different but the goal and motivation are exactly the same....

Good for England proving there is a limit to everything....

It will not be easy because they will make it difficult to England but all good things are not easy.

Renzi (the clown) and the Italian government are muppets of the international financial institution and of Germany........ but the power is gently shifting in the awareness of the people and if they have the tenacity to continue to resist the establishment they will surface, if that happens the deals will be renegotiated with this BS Europe and if that happens England will be part of it, if the negotiation will be refused then the Italians will decide as the English did........Trust me the Italians do not need more BS.

Without England and Italy there is not Europe (nothing to drink, eat, music and love)...so get ready to go short....next date to watch is the 4th of December.... (referendum vote)

"And the deal breaker is when the UK falls apart which will happen after brexit no matter what its just a matter of time ."

That'll be a long long time coming LOL

The writer has no idea about this country and what makes it tick or its people - and "people" includes all the decent immigrants who live here in peace and contribute.

The only thing which could make this country of ours "fall apart" is a massive meteor strike.
Otherwise we are here to stay, survive whatever anybody throws at us and prosper and continue to be a good place for decent folk.

Maybe the "fall apart" part wasn't clear it seems , I was referring to Scotland independence nothing more .

Well, that's never going to happen, as previously explained. More than half the Scots think wee Jimmy is a joke.

If we prosper out of the EU, the Scots may well not vote for independence.
I was in Glasgow (a strongly socialist city) recently and spoke to quite a few people from different social groups. Although it was only a straw poll so not statistically significant, a big majority wanted to stay in the Union after Brexit. What was really interesting was that most of them were SNP supporters because they wanted more control over Scottish affairs, not because they wanted independence. And not because they saw Sturgeon as president of a Scottish republic, although most had a grudging liking for her, being a fiery Scottish lass.
