Looks like I was a week out on that DOW 21700 call, I could have been minted. I reckon it's got a bit lower to go.

I work 4 12 hour shifts and barely even looked at the markets since last week, haven't even gambled!

So I'm just going to go ahead and leave this screenshot here with a nice 7k+ profit... the 2 highlighted trades were the last 2 that I put in my trading journal and then I did as quoted above (My target is not 30,000 as shown though).

I now need to do an actual trading one just to counter this one, I bet it doesn't get anywhere near the amount of views though. I'll start in a couple weeks, the account size will only be 1k but it's the principle.

I stopped doing the actual trading journal for the moment so I used the money in the account to just go for a long term buy and hold on the DOW... which is why I posted in this thread and not the trading one. I followed the abusing leverage system to keep adding to it for a huge return.

But yes, I started with 1k (actually about £850) and now have an account value of £8000.


I have spent most of today dying on the sofa and annoyingly the markets are closed

Nice one Brewski, very few can do the biz like this, mentally/emotionally can be a killer, then the home run comes in, so many ways to trade, and this thread shows exactly that. Kudos.

Now turn that 8k into 100k - bitcoin baby! Only kidding :cheesy:

On a serious note : keep an eye on the cumulative delta at these highs, and question why any market sells (that stand out) would occur here (thus who is likely to be behind them - as in trader group). Could be a decent sign of a quick move back down into 22900/22700 zone.

Sitting through the drop (£2000 for me) on Thursday when Dow was tanking and everyone was talking about 30 years since the major crash was the turning point. Majority of people would not have had the stones to hold tight and sit through that and I bet a lot of people impulsively went short anticipating a major sell off and got burned.

I’m hoping I can at least see 10k profit even if it flashes for just a second, I have guaranteed stop at 23120 (dec 17 price not cash) which is around £5300 so I’ll leave it and hope for more.
