Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

Hi guys,
Just opened the screen and try to catch up with your messages.
Another good move today, indices at good shorting levels.
I may be tempted to follow Jungerns in a little DAX short, but I may wait a little.

Greek bonds also up 7% today.
I think the markets have started pricing in a deal for next Monday.

Gaza cease fire announced.
This nay boost a little more the indices and bring some fall for Oil.

Code:
i doubt that conflict and related ceasefire had any material impact on the market

material impact no, but a small boost maybe.

Also I read that statistically 14:00 -15:00 is a positive hour for the Dow.

So, let's see.

everyone sleeping?.....have we got some buying?

looks like a bit of the old after hours shuffle as well....if the us hold this level the rest will follow ...hope we don't get a two day sideways to nowhere move with thanks giving...:(

leave it in the capable hands of bus....over 'n out

Goodnight Dick, I try not to drop the baton.
Slow grind higher in the US and UK, SD post on bullish markets was spot on.
ASX range 4380/85 to 4410/15
Option expiry in Sydney can be wild and has the habit of overshooting the upside.
Looking to buy any dips, with HK and Japan furtures looking strong.
But happy to short above 4415.
China HSBC PMI at 945am China time, good data should take AUD back to 1.04

hi bustech

HSBC Flash Manufacturing PMI is at 0145 GMT. do you think it will move index futures - ES, YM much.

Hi Samirs

Normally just moves AUD, Hong Kong and China.

But they must have some effect on ES and YM futures.

Missed the upside in the ASX and AUD.
But got some of the downside in the ASX.
Not a perfect day but okay.

Morning All
BHP +0.96%
RIO +0.23%
Asian markets up apart from China.
Let's see what the FTSE and DAX can do without the US in action.
Back later for FTSE open.

Could well be a lacklustre day. Both Ftse and Dax Shorts offside held overnight....

morning bustech and jungerns

FTSE is bullish currently 5779 (mid)

SP500 bull trigger is 1392.5 (5783.7) already hit

time 7:05 am

For now, my opinion is that DJIA will get to at least around 12850 this week, DAX 7185, FTSE 5775, S&P 1385 (all cash), but this opinion can change any time. This is based on recent highs. I would be buying retracements (if any). Perhaps someone will find this useful.

All targets hit, luckily. I hope you had a nice profit. Would be looking for shorting opportunities, hopefully before "santa rally" if there is any.
