European equities are frustrating right now, to be sure. Friday’s spurt got my hopes up of a rather more sustained rally kicking in. Instead, they are set for a weaker open as the new week gets underway. However, the overall momentum is still with us bulls. While the advance has been modest, the DAX and FTSE are heading upwards. Given further progress towards Spain receiving European assistance, I think this process will extend.

For the first time in a while, the FTSE actually looks a more attractive proposition than the DAX. I am looking for long positions once more in the indices and also in EURGBP.

generally the shorter your time frame the harder it is to make money.
