Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

Over 100 higher than when I posted earlier about Shorting being imminent....!!
Hopefully no one jumped in on that one although I did say I would post if entered myself......

I initiated a position at 7301 about one hour ago , naked no SL for the moment. Will add more if it goes either up or down.

averaged up the last hour with 3 more trades as high as 7310.

Finally it has started to break, or so it seems.

Bustech, do you use any TA for entering the trades or just intuitively action?
Also do you have more than two trades open at a give time ?

Not really ,unless you call pivots T/A.
Have two charts open, 1 min for entry and 5 min for S/R
Also aware what the other market are doing and looking at a spreadsheet compare prices in DAX and DOW. Only one trade at a time in the local currency. May have a swing trade open at the same time in Aussie dollars, so that i don't get mixed up with each trade.

Does it make sense to go short the DOW and long the SP500 ?
Currently there is a big spike in DAX. My right hand itches me to pull the trigger on the short side.

Bit off the subject but something to think about.
DOW and DAX have been very closely inked since 2006.
More than FTSE.
Dow yellow purple
dax green red
ftse blue grey

DAX has out performed the DOW by 230 points(growing every day) in August on market price comparison.
Guess the SP500 would have the same path.

thanks, I will consider this more short term play.

btw, just closed my DAX position at almost no profit. Don't want to hold it overnight, because it didn't fell enough to have a margin of safety.

I got stopped out on a couple of shorts today. It was pure stupidity going counter to such a strong trend.

Well - I have to learn somehow - I guess that way is through pain ;-)

Thanks bustech. My opinion the DAX will be the perfect short around these levels. It is only the timing that should be right. Today I exited, because both of them DAX or DOW didn't fell enough at the close, both ending very positively for the day. This may boost tomorrow JPN225 and the rest of the Asian indices, leading to further gains tomorrow at the open for the European markets. We'll see tomorrow.

Is it to confim or deny the validity of Bond Purchases by the ECB...??
