Which means I can pretty much keep a trade open for 3 days.

No, thats absolutely ok from my point of view.

If do not day trade. but If I do some time, I would like to see confirmation that is not going up. I saw patterns between blue and black lines before going short.

That was quite a test of 16,200 futures for dow, I think it passed. Now we test the upside.
