ftse opened -5 weak and trading a little weaker since. The long/short currently about 25 ftse points down. Not a disaster but pretty deep under - I'm off to golf today a bit later so will just let it ride.

i think it does it today, to post a strong weekly close and more strength next week.

higher bond yields are bullish for markets.

You can see the FTSE really doesnt want to be up at these levels. It keeps making a break south at every opportunity. Last minute sell off today?

Could see a sell off next week with all the big fish selling off stocks in S and P

If 6680 doesnt hold now on the 3rd try, its down 60 points for ftse.
