My longest 2 are the green dotted and red dotted at 470/75 settings

my green line is only about a 320 or 350 setting - shows the difference on platform s

It dropped 17 pips from 9 21 am and then became a scalp buy at 9 39am and just touched 9 21 am high within 30 mins

Total manipulation example to stop hunt weak bears etc

9 50 am was the scalp sell again but we can only stay with it now under 4925 and 16

More depth means more zooming in...?
Or do you mean squeezing horizontally?

I try to match the chart with your EA chart earlier in this morning..where you marked 2 timings, & your 470/75 LR was around 1.4990. So matched it with it using 2300. That's the close call with your chart.. after trying many combination.

It just shows how different all platforms are

You could probably use another broker with MT4 and find out you never need over a 700 setting

I think the scalp LRs and all those under 200 might not be too bad

We will get you there Sun - it just takes time 👍

Yes looking forward to 2016 - I will be quite happy if I make 80% of what I have achieved for 2015 - I don't plan to trade over 200 days next year - hopefully a few longer holiday breaks ;-)

Choosing FX Pairs to intraday trade

My normal FX Pairs I cover are

EU - GU - EA - EJ - AU - UCad - GA - GJ - UJ - UChf

Approximately 70% + of my intraday trading will be with just 3 or 4 pairs

Top pairs this last 6 months have been the EA / EJ / GU / GA

Today though the GU as remained in just a 30 -35 pip range for over 5 hrs - so only scalped it twice.

However the Euro crosses have all been decent with nice moves.

Everyday can be so different and really I only keep an eye on the Uchf / AU / UJ for correlation clues on the other pairs I will be trading

I have never bothered much with any exotic unusual pairs - mainly because the spreads and costs might not encourage scalping

I would prefer to scalp the EA than the EU - even with the EA costs with spread being well over double - the EA additional moves easily give me more profit - ie in 30 minutes which would you prefer - a EU scalp sell for 20 pips with a 1 pip cost - net 19 pips - OR a EA scalp sell in the same time making 38 pips with a 2.5 pip cost - net 35.5 pips ?? - 😉

Last Day of the Last Year - EA - What a Mover

30 MIN rules on scalp buy and then 9 21 am scalp sell started

January 1st 2016 - First Day of the new year and no trading for me now until after 6 00 am Monday 4th.

The EA pair was al lovely mover - the call I made after 9 21 am ( KT) cannot be classified as a LIVE CALL IN ADVANCE - as it was 8 mins after I took it and posted my chart with the reason's why - even though the sell lasted approx 5+hrs and dropped over 65+ pips during that time - without going over 2 pips above my entry.

I left part stakes on after taking quite a few more scalp sells during the fall but have since reviewed it to see what was possible if I had been scalping in both directions

Lets have a look at the whole day and then the main 5 -7 hrs

Now after 9 21 am and a possible 12+ scalps in both directions

I have marked the scalp sells as S1 / S2 / S3 etc etc

And the scalp buys - B1 / B2 / B3 etc

All entries with exception of one is within a couple of mins either side of a key time along with a LR scalp crossover

Will add up the pips next
